I thought it was immense the other night v Oxford. Hairs standing on back of neck time.

Now some of you will hate this and label it cringe or a bit Liverpool etc, but I'm prepared, so tin hat on here goes!

At Wembley I loved the flags waving as it was sung, visually great, thought it would be great if like when Liverpool sing YNWA many hold scarves aloft. Be great if only for those couple of lines when no clapping we all did similar. Doesn't need to be everyone initially, but I think if a few did it could quickly grow and look even better. I know it's gimmicky, but anything that might rattle an away following is good imo.

Also, I assume that as we've adopted it the Enemy lads must be getting a few quid, at least I'd hope so. We're using it on merchandise etc so must be a kind of royalty.

Morning Rob …….what a change around we now have .
A souless bowl , to now having noise that’s envied & applauded by others .
The clapping that accompanies our intro , coupled with a vast majority singing it , isn’t to be missed pre game , so for me I’m happy with how it is & love everyone’s reaction to this fabulous intro

I think we have a great anthem as it is. LAST seems so timid compared to what this sounds like.

Any pictures of the banner before ko? I was way above it and couldn’t make it out. Guess the tv cameras also missed it.

Slightly off track, but it always frustrates me that we don't walk out to the old Eaton Boating song brass. I know it’s a bit old fashioned and slow, but when we played it at HR it was great and it is our song.
Yes 100%

Also think a The specials guns of naverone should be sung after a goal rather than that generic thing loads of teams fans do. Tried it once on my own after a goal … didn’t catch on 😎

Fair enough, I think it looks really good lol, ah well. Although on the Liverpool theme two of our more famous songs, in our Coventry homes and Twist & Shout, are both from them!

I think it's more the way when it's a game on sky the way they act about it.

What is it? I think they did Chelsea Dagger for a while.

All they ever seem to sing is Holte Enders in the sky, dreadful atmosphere for big numbers.

I’ve seen footage of the Kop singing “She Loves You” in the 60s - was “Twist and Shout” something that was regularly sung too by them too?

I had no idea “In Our Coventry Homes” was originally a Reds song until I went to the Liverpool Museum and heard it playing there! Not sure they sing it now though?
