Not bedwetting before anyone starts, but them 2 tweets are highly concerning

Was told after the game on Friday that We were confident of a Worrall loan and Madsen signing......

Scrambling around again like Ayari last year then it seems

Hmm, not disputing what you were told but it did feel that signing Worrall was a bit of a pipe dream. He's on £40k pw and Forest are keen on permanently moving him on.

Even if Forest do agree to a loan, the loaning club would have to cover a sizeable chunk of his contract, which just wouldn't be possible with our budget.

Naoto Arai obviously enjoyed WLADITT…

I hope we can bring two in, although we probably need 3 to ensure we are adequately covered.
I don’t mind us utilising the loan market should we need to. I really wish Vik and Gus would hurry up and move on now so we can get some more cash in

How dare other teams be interested in the same players. Burnley are selling half their squad this week so of course they are likely to be interested, especially with their parachute money.

I have started a fake twitter rumour saying we are signing Brazilian centre half Marlon on a free. Going to see how long it takes before George Smith picks up on it!

If we wanted Madsen we’d of got him over QPR

I don’t think we have any money to spend before Vik or Gus move which has hampered the end of the window.

Suspect we will see either frees or loans (more likely) at the end of the window as I don’t see either of them moving now.

I wasn’t convinced by Madsen anyway based purely on reviews from multiple people who have watched him (I haven’t). Sounded great technically but weak for his big frame and slow on the turn lacking mobility. After watching our midfield Vs Stoke I think that’s exactly what we don’t need.

I think if we really wanted him we’d of found the money, we’ve got assets (MVE, Sheaf, Simms Wright etc) worth a lot of money and the Vik windfall will come eventually. I agree that he isn’t what we need FWIW

With this whole 'we've ran out of money' thing, I'm not buying

Record ST + match ticket sales. Record shirt sales (the mark up per shirt sees the club get almost £20 profit per one ) higest attendances we've ever had, regularly, FA Cup run etc

And even if the pot has runneth dry, then take a gamble it's not like we don't have sellable assets

We all know at least one of our best players will be gone next year if we don't go up and for big money aswell

Haji, MVE, Simms we can demand 20million quite easily

Even Sheaf with 1 year left we can't get around 10 million

We have assets that we can cash in on, but he needs to have a real tilt at it this season for me
