I just wanted to share as I've been well proud of myself and hoping by end of the year to have the confidence to cook for her mother.
Cá hấp - steamed fish, we chose a golden pompano. It is steamed with long sliced green onion and ginger, with pâté spread on toasted bánh mì
Chả cá thăng long - tumeric and dill fish, for this we used whiting. Fried in a sizzling pan with onion and served with a fermented shrimp paste sauce. Also featuring steam clams and lobster. Brown/red rice as a change of pace. Pickled carrot & daikon. Chili paste. Blanched crunchy bok choy vegetable.
