Horrible second half performance from Tottenham, went from looking like they’d win 5-0, to probably deserving to lose 2-1. They should’ve went for Toney instead of Solanke.

Only Leicester have created anything decent in second half.

I’d say so, yes, especially as he’s still playing and scoring in the PL all these years later.

Ironically at the time it was a ridiculous fee. £1m for a player from the conference in 2012 was crazy. Back then the highest fees being paid in this league were like £2-4m.

Possibly, Kolo Toure (<£100k?) would be in the argument and maybe Henry who was basically the best player in the world for 2 or 3 years for £10M.

Also, Kanye. He was bought for buttons by Leicester, see also Mahrez.

So, Felix moves to Chelsea for £45m and Gallagher goes the other way for £33m.

In actual terms they’ve spent £12m to swap a reliable if not spectacular academy graduate for an inconsistent luxury player.

In FFP/PSR cheat terms they’ve gained a bit of breathing room for the next few years until the amortisation hits the books.

In the last few days their manager has also put out fairly inflammatory statements alienating Sterling, Chilwell and 15-20 other players who he says he has no use for and are training separately from the playing squad.

I really really hope they crash and burn hard. I’ll lose what little faith in football I have if this turns out to be a viable strategy of running a club.

Arsenal apparently are selling Nketiah and bringing in another midfielder, Merino from Sociedad.

I know they score a lot of goals without a recognised out and out striker, but seems mental to go into such a long season with only Gabriel Jesus (injury prone), Havertz (inconsistent and never a natural goalscorer) and Trossard (more of a winger in my opinion) as strikers.

Obviously point deductions will change things, but man for man, Everton should be getting relegated this season. A completely woeful side, already 2-0 down.

75% possession for Spurs.

Another disappointing defeat for palace by the looks of it. Not good enough for a side with some class players (Guehi, Eze, Wharton etc.,)

Everton getting steamrolled again. Unless you’re playing Man City/Arsenal, you shouldn’t be giving up 75% possession to anyone in this league over 90 mins.

They’re a side you could realistically envision go into free fall if they got relegated.

They will get lucky and get taken over bring in few loans and just stay up and then sack Dyche.
