I don’t think anyone one here would disagree. I’d make it a mandatory 5 years for carrying one with life for even just brandishing them in public.

The description says he was pushing a "baby stroller".

I did see it posted from a lot of the typical ‘extreme right’ accounts (must be in my cookies now after they’d been posted on here!) and my initial reaction was it was someone pushing belongings along. Then when I saw baby stroller (and one page mentioned ‘partner’ as well) I had to re-watch to check, but still wasn’t sure.

There’s two aspects to this, though - the incident itself is fucking despicable and knife crime in general seems to be growing exponentially without a sound plan to tackle it, but there’s a desire of these ‘extreme right’ pages to amplify anything a non-white person has done and frame it in an anti-immigration way. Both are highly disturbing.

Because we did away with "stop and search" as it was considered to be racist, despite it being proven many times by the police, that most knife crime was "black on black" knife crime. (That was the Tory Government)

The issue is, people are getting longer sentences within a week of being arrested for posting on social media than people who carry and even use knives.

Not really - the Manchester police affair had many people jumping to conclusions about “institutional racism” when it turned out a couple of scumbags - of Muslim descent but probably very British - commited a violent unprovoked assault on the police.

I understand that, but unfortunately the perpetrators of the vast majority of the sickening acts usually come from a minority of the population, when it's a fact that's being pointed out it's not racism, it's a fact.

The communities arnt policing themselves, and the police force appear too frightened to act, while the government are seeking to silence any one who points out the blindingly obvious.

It appears that your more likely to go to prison for demonstrating about knife crime than you are for committing knife crime.

Last I heard (it may of changed since) but the people who attacked the police officers at Manchester airport, and smashed a police women's nose, havnt even been charged with any offence!!!

But the government have locked an old white women up for comments she made on line!!!
