not really- remember the reason this all started was that GIMOC and the others were telling everyone that the murderer in Southport was an immigrant fresh off a boat.
Since then it’s been open season for any racist trope & xenophobic slur you like. You have Grendel sending grovelling PMs apologising for his choice of words then promptly showing his true colours, Nick seems to have selective vision on what he sees, and the knife crime gets lost in a sea of agendas.
its easy for me to say what I believe, i think people that do this need the absolute nastiest & toughest sentences there are, and if they are immigrants then they’re gone. At the same time I believe that people using it all as an opportunity to preach hatred of immigrants in general or indeed non white or Muslim people, they’re absolute cunts.

The problem that seems to be the issue on hear today is that most of the knife crime appears to be done by the same minority of the population, and while that's the case, they are going to be targets of the inevitable hatred that follows.
Why can't this minority police themselves?
Why has it become the norm for their young men to carry knives?
Why are they targeting children and innocent people?
It's so fucked up, what the fuck is going on?
And why are the government refusing to do anything?

They do sound British to me. That’s not a conclusion, and the statement makes it implicit that it’s a personal opinion. And you have a problem with it. But yet you stand there & say nothing when someone makes definitive conclusions about the identity of the attackers by linking up known far right accounts, which are lies. You’re quiet about that.

I see debate and discussion about race, nationality, religion and the reliability of sources of information. I don't see any debate or discussion re: root causes of knife crime and potential solutions, just who does it. People are point scoring. It's not a discussion.
If you can explain to me how the rush to blame segments of the population for what's happening nationally has got to do with Southport, I'm all ears. No one's talking about knife crime itself. It's pretty undignified and I'd hope we could do better.

His only comments on the Germany attack were that 'I was creaming myself' about it. He doesn't have the balls to discuss some of the harder topics so takes the cowardly option of trying to be a hero and jumping on other people instead. It's easier to do that.
I don't see how anyone above the age of 12 cannot see that there's a massive problem in Europe at the moment. I'm not sure why some are so keen to cover for these people or put in a series of deflections every time something happens. It's extremely bizarre behaviour.

We're now 60 odd pages in and most of it seems to be arguing about who is the most far right or who is the biggest apologist and blaming eachother for the issues. As always, an argument on here only divides us, changes nothing and gets many worked up.
What can't be denied is that we do need some radical steps taken on immigration and a grown up conversation on all sides at the highest level, with government and senior leaders from all parts, with no name calling, no riotous consequences about how we make things better for everyone.
To deny we have an issue and feeding the constant line of we need immigration is ostrich like behaviour. Good controlled immigration I'm sure everyone accepts.
What we currently have is people weaponising it and hiding behind terms that are racist or race itself or religion or colour or anything else that is divisive.
We've seen locally even in recent months like the lad who killed Keaton get away with basically murder fleeing to his home country, to escape justice. That lad is white, so no ral chart required to be outraged, but we need everyone to come together. It won't happen of course, we'll all go on blaming eachother, there will be more senseless attacks and this thread will reach 100 pages with more rinse and repeat arguments.
Sad, sad times we're living in. I'm glad that I'm not one of the younger generation, but feel for them as this will continue to get worse.
