It’ll be palace or Brighton away. Shit draw - and we’ll get beat
Yes please. Will put me on 89/92 watching City away then. Oh bollox forgot Bromley came up so actually lost a ground.Barrow away
Nah still similar, I’d be disappointed if we drew Burnley, Leeds, Sheff Utd etc.I think in years gone by we all hoped it wouldn't be a better Championship team as they would probably win without getting out of 2nd gear and generally it would be shite. There are no better Championship teams to be worried of now. Fantastic
And?
It's been ages since we drew a big team at home, why can't we have that for once?
It will be fucking Barrow or something
Tbf with the league cup it’s incredibly hard to get to Wembley as it’s only the final, European qualifiers get byes and the semi is two legged.Sometimes a shit draw can be a means to and end. Home to Liverpool in the 3rd round and knocked out or a Wembley visit?
Seeing us lose at home to Chelsea in a cup quarter final was probably the most sterile match I’ve seen us involved in.
Yep you’re right, you get to near Kendal and you think you’re nearly there…. an hour later and you’re thinking where the hell is this place. I went there with a friend who supports Aldershot Town, for a National League game, so I’m counting that as ticked off now they’re in League 2. I live between Newcastle and Carlisle, and it would still be a minimum two and a half drive for me.I went to Barrow the other year to get it ticked off my 92 and it is the most awkward place to get to I have ever been, you have to go up the M6, past where you are going to loop back down to Barrow on the A-Roads
We never get good draws in any cup competition let's be honest
Will be a shit team
Snowed in for any of the winter ?Yep you’re right, you get to near Kendal and you think you’re nearly there…. an hour later and you’re thinking where the hell is this place. Give us Manchester United we owe the fuckers big time
I'd fancy us big time against them at home as well
FA Cup, would love a random away trip to Barrow or Carlisle or something. Midweek though?! Terrible draw! I spared a thought for those Derby fans who travelled that far.Yes please. Will put me on 89/92 watching City away then. Oh bollox forgot Bromley came up so actually lost a ground.
Best in terms of being winnable yes, but since there was a high chance we were going out whoever we drew it was disappointing at the time to get a relatively boring draw.Wolves away last year (despite the moaning on here from most) was one of the best draws we could have got.
As was Manchester United in the semi.
Snowed in for any of the winter ?h
Not for a little while, not seen any snow to speak of for a few years now.Snowed in for any of the winter ?

Key word being relatively.I don't know how Wolves away can be described as "boring"
FA Cup Quarter Final, a derby, and very much a historical rival (wasn't Wolves a huge deal in the 60's?)
Too many people can't see past "the big 6" and think nothing else matters..... spent too much time watching Sky Sports.
It is a shame that it’s now trophy where many big teams play their fringe players and reserves. That's part of the reason the league Cup is seen as a bit of a piss take.
Key word being relatively.
Our options were Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, Wolves or Leicester. Arguably Wolves is the least interesting draw there.
Please refer to Manchester City as Man City or Manchester City. We call ourselves City and its 'semi insulting to ourselves' to refer to another team as our name of City.Apart from City and Arsenal we could beat anyone. Don’t get the slander of the cup to be honest, always loved getting through a few rounds. Will also help our fringe players to go as far as we can.
I never want to play these again.Leicester? I want a big club.
When is it?
Didn’t we actually win a game at Deepdale in the FA Cup? I’m sure we did in the late 90sProbably Preston and the only time we will beat them this year
