Why do we always go down to the wire on deadline day?

Is it because:-

a) We need all the possible time to prise away the players we want?
b) The selling club wants to hold on as long as possible?
c) We want to bank our cash until the last possible minute?
d) We need the first few weeks of the season to establish our needs
e) Other?

Surely we need more than a few hours to sort medicals, submit forms, meet the player, take photos etc
With the majority of transfer business we haven't gone down to the wire. Additionally the right players have to be available

By virtue of the constant whinging about who we have / haven't got would suggest that you don't think k MR etc are doing a good job and that they should take heed of you because you obviously know better

Heard we're after a player called Ali Al-Hamadi from AFC Wimbledon.

Same source who told me Monzo were sponsoring us.

This is what I read too. City player subject of bid in but potentially involves player coming the other way? Sheaf and Billing?
With Sheafs injury record i'd snap their hand off if its Billing plus money.

Clearly Robins and the scouts agree we need better in midfield. They tried to get that Stamenic in for example. So if anything Robins will be as frustrated if nothing materialises.
That may well be the case but Robins and the team bought in Torp and Rudoni , they obviously rate Eccles but according to the bedwetters it's still not good enough

I don't think we should all just shut up and trust in the process , just the bed wetting ones
