For some of us, great away days and memories
My memories of regularly visiting old Trafford, Anfield, Villa Park etc were trust me far greater

I was there and I was at Northamptonthat’s what separates the men from the boys
Everyone was together. the die hards
I would say the Northampton days were worse

Still, at least you could fit both a pint and a smoke in at half time without missing any of the match as the concourse was emptyI was there and I was at Northampton
Like I said I loved the away games, had some of my best memories watching us away in those days but I certainly don't miss us playing in a barely 1/4 full stadium on a horrible pitch every other week

Do we actually know what Spurs said about how much we could charge kids? They have to agree to the pricing at these games. They're EPL games, one against one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Not the Caraboa cup when they'll put out a weakened side and possibly we will as well.
I can get on board with thatas I said the away days. didnt mention the dross at home. although Northampton days were the grimmest in our history

Make your mind up, yesterday you said "they'll play as strong a team as possible". Go on the Spurs forums, not one mention/moan about kids pricing, unfortunately its the norm these days. People moan about games on Sky and then moan about pricing. this site should be skybluemoan.co.ukThey're EPL games, one against one of the biggest clubs in the world.

City traditionally raise their game against better opposition and its likely we will have Sheaf back who makes a big difference, so I’m expecting an upturn in performanceI think the issue is not the price, is value for money ?
If we had played teams off the park, a match against Spurs would be exciting.
However we are yet to find form and spent our last half chasing shadows despite changing our formation 3 times.
If we were on form we would sell out, but as we arent, people have an issue with the value of the pricing.

The average family is not being priced out though are they. We're playing Spurs FFS and its the same price for kids as it was against Oxofrd and cheaper than it was against Norwich. I'm not saying its right, i'm sayings its the norm as proven below.its not the norm. afc Wimbledon showed that
let’s all be yes men shall we? bet some on here have their own missus cheating on them. zero backbone
if you are happy for the average family to be priced out of the game and supporting the city then that’s a sad reality
Again what nonsense, loads of kids at games the family section will be full most the season
Most parents wouldn't take an 8 year old to game on a school night likely to get to bed before 11pm. Spurs reserves FFS.
I Agree,They can eat at home before they leaveDon't get this, you don't have to buy food for everybody and can park somewhere cheap.
Getting food and drinks for 4 is going to be more than the cost of a ticket.
It's as odd as fans supporting every single thing doug king does too tbhJesus some of our fans are incredibly odd.
Criticising the owner for not getting a midfielder in and reducing our chances of promotion to the Premier Lg whilst yearning for the Lg2 days ….
Yes I think sodon't the away team have to agree to the ticket prices in the league cup?
mundane after a while
year on year same old grounds
L2 aways were an adventure. travelling to small towns and grounds. being the scalp everyone wanted
Do we actually know what Spurs said about how much we could charge kids? They have to agree to the pricing at these games.
No idea, but I still think it's too high for kids for this fixture, regardless of who's responsible
£4 in 1970 is £66 now
clearly you are lying because it’s impossible
football should always be a working class sport
Yes I think so
It wasn't, teams really didn't care.
We turned up at towns and expected it to be their biggest game in history and every ground we visited was empty.
That League 2 season is looked back on fondly because it finished with Cheltenham and Notts County away and Wembley.
There were good moments that season, especially in the cup run but games like Forest Green and Morecambe were the lowest points in the clubs history. Accrington away where fans were abusing the players like never before.
Other days that were dreadful include Yeovil away early on. That horror miss from McNulty when we drew 0-0 away at Chesterfield. Colchester away with about 180 away fans on a Tuesday night in February where we conceded in the last minute.
It was an awful season with a couple of good days out and a good cup run.
what a load of garbage. What do you propose, check people’s postcodes and payslips on entry?
football should be a sport for everyone, not a certain class.
luton away was great day and the draw at Mansfield which changed the course of our season and our club future.
that season kicked start our revival
it was our highest league finish for over 45 years at the time
Tottenham won’t be playing their reserves…
football is built on working class foundations
so you agree football is everyone including kids because that’s who will suffer if families can’t afford it
You reckon, most of it is like a third world shit holenot yet but not far away
Cov still has a working class feel. only just
Did you need your Maths O level to work there?I was on £80 a week working at the Standard Triumph in the 70s , so what's that in today's money
