yep. The Diane Abbott of the Democrats. Harris was kept under tight control because of her poor judgement.

What she is benefitting from now is - thank fuck we have someone more credible than Biden to confront Trump

Absolutely have a right to complain and go through proper checking but he incited a riot where people died
I can’t believe the capital police didn’t open fire
I think in all honesty they should have done and they were lucky more people didn’t lose their lives

I cannot believe that, for the 3rd election in a row, a country as large as the USA has managed to come up with such a poor/terrible choice of presidential candidates.

It is saying something when you consider that the best of them was probably Hillary Clinton.

This is always funny. That Trump supporters have to pull this now because they can’t even pretend he’s a decent candidate. Same as the Tories here. Always funny. “Oh it’s a shame this is the best we’ve got (because I still want to vote for the idiot and can’t come up with any genuine issues with his opponent)”

If Harris/Walz get elected, and succeed in passing even a portion of what they’re running on, they’ll get re-elected in a landslide. It’s a genuinely strong ticket with popular and effective policy proposals.

It’s frightening that the election is still so close when you have Trump openly saying it’s his right to manipulate elections and Project 2025 is waiting to be rolled out if he wins.

Kamala Harris is fine. She is head and shoulders over Trump in terms of speaking policy. Not sure about her game show host running mate.

The other thing thatta clear is the police reaction saved hundreds of lives by not shooting and by not trying to stop them coming in the building
Much like the police reaction during riots make the balance between peoples lives and property and deal with the consequences later

I just can't get over him going to this length to 'stop the steal' when there is physical evidence of him trying to actually steal votes in Georgia in the same election. It's incredible that he's been allowed to run again, never mind that he has a good chance yet of winning.

Lots at stake when they go to the polls

I’ve been listening to a lot of the rest is history and recognising that our country was a right basket case 250 years after it became a country and so it is with the USA
Proof if any were needed that the love of money is the root of all evil

The side pledging to take free breakfast and lunch from children beating the side that would offer it to all. Not a very Christian attitude yet we all know who the evangelicals will be voting for.

It’s not a great witness
I know they’d say abortion is the number one issue followed by freedom to live as god desires them too and to protect themselves and their brothers and sisters from government interference

but what’s about act justly love mercy and walk humbly

Up until now there has only been one president who served two terms non consecutively. He ended up widely despised by the end of his second term but history has since judged him fairly well.

Perhaps Trump will be the second to do both, but if he pulls off the Project 2025 as he wishes, he’ll become a dictator in all but name.
