I thought you said you were staying at home?
I think your spreadsheet has let you down.
I thought you said you were staying at home?
I believe vintage refers to days of oldI wouldn't say it's vintage CCFC style anymore. 6 years ago maybe
The team left 15 minutes before the end didn't they?Everyone leaving early can fuck off as well.
Yes we didn’t win but they deserve an applause after that.
Should never of played it to torp had two men on him , just stupid, oh well we played well and didn’t deserve to lose , plus points Bassette looked good and we made loads of chances against a prem team, on to Saturday and the start of our run up the league. That is exactly what Sheaf is always prone to, simple passes misplaced.
They are internationals to be fairThe difference in the subs was the decider.
Taking Eccles off was a mistake. Allen was exhausted and should of gone off instead.
Their subs gave them a big lift.
You can't seriously blame Torp for that goal. Mad. Sheaf pinged it to him whilst he had two men closing him down. Crap by SheafI wish I could kick a ball as far as Torp controls it.
Dunno if Simms will be for long looking at Bassette. I say this as a big Simms fan, but Bassette excites me a lot more. Once he gets 1 I can see the flood gates opening.Hold on , we brought on sheaf , Simms and torp .
2 are 1st on the team sheet when everybody is fit ?
As he should be
Slightly, but he was a step down from Bassette. I generally like Simms but Bassette showed far more tonight in his general game than Simms has all season.Harsh on Simms
That’s Wilson all over. Great with the reaction save but when someone is running at him he doesn’t know when to come or if he does how far to close the angle. Not sure that Wilson covered himself in glory for either goal in truth, bit he did pull off a couple of cracking saves.
Decent performance regardless, and Bassette looked exceptional.
I know it was forced on us to some degree, but I thought we looked a lot more threatening breaking from deep with pace, than this grindingly slow possession football we seem to get drawn into against 'lesser' teams.
Yeah but 6 years ain't oldI believe vintage refers to days of old
Really solid comparison tbh never thought of thatDunno if Simms will be for long looking at Bassette. I say this as a big Simms fan, but Bassette excites me a lot more. Once he gets 1 I can see the flood gates opening.
Seen a lot of comparisons but he reminds me of Vardy more than anyone.

They did to an extent but we gifted them the game with the mistake, don't mind being beaten by a moment of class but it just wasn't the caseOur players were excellent - Rudoni, Bassette, Eccles and Wilson chiefly.
Spurs brought Maddison, Son, Spence and Kulusevski off the bench and they made the difference - we just don't play against players of that quality often.
Wouldn't argue with that but Simms wasn't bad when he came onSlightly, but he was a step down from Bassette. I generally like Simms but Bassette showed far more tonight in his general game than Simms has all season.
6 years ago we weren’t even scoring goals!Yeah but 6 years ain't old
That was the worst performance I’ve seen from Van Ewjick - never got forward and gave the ball away frequently in dangerous positions.
Hindsight is great but if fit is have left Wright on
To be fair he was shattered.Subs showed that Robins wasn’t really arsed about winning the game. Basically just took off everyone who is likely to start on Saturday. No way Allen should have played 90 minutes, he was awful second half.
