Without mcgoldrick, Adams, moussa and bailey we would be a bottom 6 side.
Barton and fleck will feature this season and prove you wrong like the edge and Jennings have.

Barton i would say can do it fleck is a bit part player for me at the momentBarton and fleck will feature this season and prove you wrong like the edge and Jennings have.
if baker and jennigns can improve why cant likes of macdnald, hussey and thomas(not improve but get some form in his case).
give robins a chance, hes drafted great laons and im desperate for them to stay but if they go we are still better than bottom 6.
That I doubt and if they feature in the same team God help us. Without bailey Jennings is poor.
We shall see............ You don't lose skill like this when you are still young
ALLY McCOIST reckons teenage protege John Fleck could be the best 17-year-old he's ever seen on a football pitch.
Steven Davis says John Fleck can be a major star for Rangers after the 17-year-old forward's man-of-the-match performance against Falkirk.
Sir Alex Ferguson is a huge fan of young Scottish winger John Fleck, and is considering a surprise 6m offer for the Rangers player. The 20 year old is very highly rated north of the border, and could make a sensational move in January.
Former Scottish manager Walter Smith has even stated that Fleck could be the finest player of this current generation.
Maybe Mccoist, Fergie and Smith should have called you first Grendel saved themselves looking silly talking him up.
Next you'll be saying why can't odonovan improve.
And yet could have signed him for free in the summer and didn't......
Ian holloway saw him up close and decided he wasn't good enough for the championship.
Is that from the same paper that said Liverpool were gonna sign Barton?
Well this is Beckham and the paper is the telegraph. Becks seems to think he is a good player having played against him
Beckham even compared fledgling Fleck's relationship with Rangers' assistant-manager Ally McCoist to the tutelage he received from Sir Alex Ferguson.
"John is a good player and it is great for any young player to have the chance to play for such a big club as Rangers," said the 33-year-old.
Remind me how many players we have who have played against Becks and he thought they were good.
Well he's best mates with Chris Birchall and probably rates him free playing with him.
I wouldn't read too much into what people say about youngsters. There have been many a highly rated youngster gone on to achieve nothing.
Kevin Thornton was probably one of the most naturally gifted younsters to come through our academy.....
People were touting sheffers as a possible future England player.
Andy Gooding played for England at every age level before we binned him off.
And someone once phoned into CWR and said Andy Whing will play for England and be worth £5 million.
Not sure McCoist, Walter Smith and Becks fit in the same billing
Not sure McCoist, Walter Smith and Becks fit in the same billing
In which years did McCoist, Smith and Becks say these things?
2009 however Fleck is still only 21. He has this skill and we have seen glimpses of it. A run of games and he will become pivotal as will Barton.
So they said all of that praise 3 1/2 years ago when he was 17, and now he is a fringe player in league one....
i like Malaga and Hussey.i will be sad to see them go. i could also see Mcdonald and Elliot leaving
I don't think he should be in the starting line up, other people are performing and have the shirt currently, he will get his chance in the team though because thats football with injuries and suspensions inevitable. It is then up to him to keep the shirt, I think he has the potential to become a good player for us in the future thoughTbh if fleck was good enough then he would be starting, MR would put him in the team surely? I agree he has potential but we may not see that potential. Lots of players a over hyped now and a lot of them are wrong. Fleck hasn't done anything to prove he is good enough here yet apart from a couple good corners he hasn't shown much. If Fleck proves me wrong then fine but so far he has been poor.
@Stupot aren't you always defending the likes of Jeffers when someone says he is no good or useless. You were always the first to remind us that he is only 20 years old
Fleck has time on his side and will get better with experience
Used to feel a little sorry for Hussey as I thought he was worth persevering with, however since Adams has come in he has shown up Hussey as he can defend and get forward, in fact I would say he is light years ahead of Hussey, so for me Hussey can employment elsewhere.

Maybe robins will play him when someone gets injured suspended or has a loss of form sounds to me like he agrees with all of the other genuine experts.......
MARK Robins is looking forward to giving summer signing John Fleck a starting role for Coventry City.
The Sky Blues boss has been impressed with the former Rangers wonder-kid and can’t wait to get him fully fit to fire the team up the League One table.
Fleck helped turn the game in City’s favour with his quality on the ball when he went on as a substitute at Oldham on Saturday, and although tonight’s Ricoh Arena clash with third placed MK Dons might be too early for a place in the starting line-up, Robins said: “Flecky is going to be a really good player for us.
“I think he’s got something special, certainly at this level, and we’ve got to develop that. He would be in the starting line-up had he not had the injury lay-off but we’ve got to be careful, give him minutes on the pitch before we look to start him.

Thats exactly what i said he has potential. The starting line up bit is now wrong though. And this was after he had one good sub appearance he might not be thinking this now after seeing him more as this was very early in his reign?
Little late to the thread and appreciate the quoted comment is now 9 hours old, but to me this sums up the new Coventry attitude. For too long we've put up with inadequacy based on the belief that they're 'good guys' who have a decent game 1 in 5.
Have a watch of the JPT 'Paint Pot Challenge' video where Hussey pretends to be some sort of gangster to be funny and the pic of him 'smoking', it's clear that he simply loves being a professional footballer rather than him actually wanting to be a better professional footballer.
Well, s'long sucker, we ain't subsidising your 'celebrity' lifestyle any longer. Go ask Thornton for advice on what to do next. Us fans are finally realising we need winners and sentimentality went out the window when MR was appointed (having said all that I fell Malaga was estranged for MR to stamp his authority and make a break from the prev regime).
We can do this. PUSB!
(ps apologies for the rant, I blame Speckled Hen... )
He was very positive about him on mid november as well as well before Fleck picked up another knock.
He needs to start affected games in open play, apart from the set prices he has been a passenger when he's played.

I think he's been disappointing. Very slow and hardly ever in the game. He's a passenger 90% of the time. Plays like he's at the end of his career not the beginning.
Some passenger wish we had more passengers like that he is our top man for assists and has played half the matches of others.
But most of those have been from set peices. It's no coincidence that our performances and results have improved since he has been out the team, and we have more mobile players in midfield.
You big him up like he's some footballing god.
