I think we can play 3-4-3 with the players we have as well. Have a central striker and then two of Rudoni, Mason-Clarke, Wright, Sakamoto playing just off/wide of the central striker

Lati is probably at his least shit on the right of a back 3 and I'm looking forward to seeing Bassette but I'm clutching really. It's a formation that cannot got the best out of Wright, EMC or Sakamoto. That's a lot of money there...

Any team worth a wank should be able to play multiple systems, it would be mental if they couldn't

4-2-3-1 is plan a but it would be a "fuck up" not to have plan b's and c's.

I think that assumes you pick a formation first and a team second and I’m not sure that’s true. Form and circumstance determine who in your squad you need to fit in and in what shape.

The one positive change I see in terms of this year vs last year in the formation is Van Ewijk has started being a lot more forward-thinking in his general play. He didn’t really fit at wing back last year but think he’ll suit it a lot more now.
