I can't really see how we turn the corner other than Robins going and us trying a completely new approach.
The problem is a new manager will want a war chest and I suspect we've spent everything on a bang average lopsided squad. With a few duds on good wages and long contracts.
Doug will need some skills to offload and refresh this squad. And he isn't the most experienced.... It's not looking good.
A new manager has to go with what we have no change until January

We're shit, and I'm sick of it.

God bless every single one of you who made the long and expensive journey to Preston for a 1230 kickoff only to once again be served up a hefty spoonful of warm diarrhea, my heart goes out to all of you.

I really don't know what to say. Preston were shit today and won, and that ultimately is the only thing that counts. If we cannot capitalise against teams like this, we are doomed. I don't know where we go from here; everything has gone wrong, we have regressed, all of the positivity over pre-season has evaporated like piss on a barbecue.

There is a toxic positivity issue in our fanbase. MR and DK are not above criticism and shoulder responsibility for our abysmal start to the season and lack of return on record investment and prices.

As long as it’s positive criticism and not fickle criticism totally agree.

IF we do end up in a relegation battle this bunch of players won't get us out of it.

I didn't think today's performance was anywhere as bad as previous weeks though the bar is extremely low, apart from the final third where we were toothless again. Embarrassing when sky were commenting that we could be there another 24 hours and we wouldn't scoff.

Where do we go from here?

Just seems inevitable that Robins will be gone soon and then God knows what happens after that.

We have been fucking bad this season but today was not that.

The disallowed goal should never have been disallowed

The save from Thomas at the end, that goes in 7/10 times

Wright missing a sitter

Eccles missing a sitter

Easily had enough to win that game

How long than this go on?
Every week we start as though they just meet each other.
There has got to be something big going on at the club any one know .Is it Robins and our many coaches don't see eye to eye?
Take this game didn't trouble their keeper till very late. Two shots on target all match. Can not defend corners. No midfield.Throw in's ? Our playing out from the back.
What happens all week in training?

A lot of people seem very confident that the person who appointed the performance director and has overseen a complete overhaul of the coaching setup is going to make the right appointment should it come to that point.

The coaching set up has not been massively overhauled in reality. Viveash was dismissed for non football reasons and it’s alarming how tactically weak we now are

Look at the goal we’ve conceded today. The sort of goal you’ll see scored plenty of times on a Sunday morning.

It the cold light of day (or a few hours after the game) that wasn't as bad as some make out.

We weren't great and neither were they, we fluffed at least 3 and maybe 4 great chances and the ref chalked off a perfectly good goal.

It's not good enough but it's also not the war crime of a performance people made out.

Ignoring they missed numerous chances and Dovin made two great saves

I think Mark has become too casual in his thinking. He is revered & it shows.
Yeah revered a great word to use. Read it as reserved at first and didn’t get what you meant.
To be fair it could’ve gone either way today but results are what count and we didn’t get one. Do you think he’s in above his head at the moment?

We could of and probably should have been 2 or 3 nil down at half time. Two Dovin says which were as good as the Bobby Thomas one, and the header that was put wide by Riis.

I feel he is lonely. Is there a professional in the Club ? I can't see one. On or off the pitch.

Without reading any other opinions.

Much better today, apart from the finishing.

The real score should have been 2-3 as Preston did have 3 or 4 big chances.

Dovin, Bassett and Dasilva excellent.

Our top players let us down today. Sheaf, MVE, Simms not at the races.

Unlucky to lose today, but I have a feeling our ‘Run’ will start on Tuesday night.

As for whose fault it is I’m sure we could go on about it for days, but it’s mad to think we’ve squandered one of the biggest gifts that 2 players will probably ever give us. We basically turned £2 mil into £35 mil and then with that we bought a load of players that either can’t play or can’t be arsed to play.

I personally think Robins has a game or two left until I’ll be in the “Robins out” camp.

It won't. There won't be a "Run" without central defenders. We don't have any
