Not sure it will define our season as there will still be plenty of matches to play. However, it's going to be tough. Watching the game on tele now and Boro have blown Norwich away so far.
We need to make sure we get something from the two home games.
A few defeats and the pitchforks and torches will be out again.

The point I'm making is after yesterday's morale boosting win, and let's face it playing much more like our expected selves again, can we go on and capitalise on it during a month where we face Sheff. Utd, Sunderland, Middlesborough and Burnley all flying high?
To do so would mean a couple of victories from those in form sides.
Failing to do so would define our season by falling behind too much of the top 6 pack.

Don't want to jinx it but we often seem to do well against Sunderland and Middlesboro.
I think 5 or 6 points is not unachievable in those 4 games

I know it's a cliché but I'm taking it one game at a time. We had a morale boosting win against Blackburn when they were flying, and then followed it up with pretty dire losses against Sheff Wed and Preston and an uninspired drew against QPR.
Yesterday is one game, a brilliant performance and win, but just one game. Let's not get carried away.

Yesterday’s win took us only 1 point above the relegation zone. We need a 3 or 4 unbeaten run to get above this position.

Ha, this post aged quickly. Not sure Boro fans will be looking forward to this game given the weekends scores. Might not be a bad game to concede first.
Easy to take a negative view on these games but it is an opportunity to take some points off those above us too. When we are on it we can beat anyone.

It would have been a good point at the start of the day but to quote my Boro supporting mate "we do seem to have a remarkable knack of not winning games we should win".
He was already of the view that they would somehow find a way to lose against us. I suspect blowing a two goal lead late on hasn't increased confidence. I'm not saying that they will be sh!tting themselves about playing us but they are a bit flakey. We are in with a chance.
