Yes upwards I'm saying! So looking at the upcoming fixtures we seem to have unfortunately landed on teams very much in form at the top end of the table all coming one after another through November. Could this be the month that will define our season?
I know it's a cliché but I'm taking it one game at a time. We had a morale boosting win against Blackburn when they were flying, and then followed it up with pretty dire losses against Sheff Wed and Preston and an uninspired drew against QPR.The point I'm making is after yesterday's morale boosting win, and let's face it playing much more like our expected selves again, can we go on and capitalise on it during a month where we face Sheff. Utd, Sunderland, Middlesborough and Burnley all flying high?
To do so would mean a couple of victories from those in form sides.
Failing to do so would define our season by falling behind too much of the top 6 pack.
At this point we need to forget about promotion this season. The point I'm making is after yesterday's morale boosting win, and let's face it playing much more like our expected selves again, can we go on and capitalise on it during a month where we face Sheff. Yep, just take each game as it comes, lets get to mid table first. At this point we need to forget about promotion this season.
Surely forgetting about promotion in October would be an admission of failureAt this point we need to forget about promotion this season.
Yesterday’s win took us only 1 point above the relegation zone. We need a 3 or 4 unbeaten run to get above this position.7 points off the playoffs, if we're the same or better come December we'll be ok if we keep yesterday's levels.

As opposed to the other 6 months and 28 games and potential 84 points No.So looking at the upcoming fixtures we seem to have unfortunately landed on teams very much in form at the top end of the table all coming one after another through November. If we get to the end of November and we’re averaging 1 ppg it’s hardly bed wetting is itAs opposed to the other 6 months and 28 games and potential 84 points No.
Bed Wetter alert
That wasnt the question was it. To say the next four matches is season defining is bed wettingIf we get to the end of November and we’re averaging 1 ppg it’s hardly bed wetting is it
Ha, this post aged quickly. Not sure Boro fans will be looking forward to this game given the weekends scores. Might not be a bad game to concede first. So looking at the upcoming fixtures we seem to have unfortunately landed on teams very much in form at the top end of the table all coming one after another through November. Norwich haven’t lost at home for yonks, a draw was still a good result.Ha, this post aged quickly. Not sure Boro fans will be looking forward to this game given the weekends scores. Might not be a bad game to concede first.
It would have been a good point at the start of the day but to quote my Boro supporting mate "we do seem to have a remarkable knack of not winning games we should win".Norwich haven’t lost at home for yonks, a draw was still a good result.
Yes I do, and despite the great win yesterday, we are still only 1 point above the relegation zone. Basking in the afterglow but not getting carried away. You do know how maths works don’t you?
