Best hope is Torp and Sheaf. Don't want to see Lati in there unless it's a very last resort.

Torp or Rudoni I hope but unfortunately he will go negative with Lati.

I didn't realise it until Robins said it.

If you know you're on four bookings, getting a fifth for dissent is stupid, no matter how much you might disagree with the ref.

He haa picked up silly bookings for dissent this season. I've

Don't blame him. Weekend off then international break. Doesn't have to travel to Sunderland can ho and get a cheeky week in the sun instead.

Disagree on this tbh. Eccles gives a fuck and I won’t ever ask him to curb that. This must be one of his first suspensions for us? Sheaf has missed more through injury and Rudoni through not turning up so I’ll allow Eccles this one.

I think Eccles has been superb this season but I don’t think you can really compare missing a game through injury and a suspension. One is perfectly preventable, the other is much less so.

I think he is getting very frustrated at how shit his team mates are, and how equally shit match officials are as well.

The performance director was supposed to be reducing injuries. That hasn’t gone well,

oh how will we cope. No midfield maestro Eccles pulling the strings with his midfield masterclass

I see your points on Sheaf and Rudoni and fully agree with them.

I don't mind Eccles caring and showing some passion. I'd be worried if he didn't, it's his club as much as ours, that's how it should be.

But picking up a fifth booking for it when you know you're already on four just seems silly and unnecessary to me.
I get he's clearly frustrated at how it's gone tonight, we all are, and again, I'd be worried if he wasn't after a game like that. But you can't be picking up a suspension for it, that just doesn't help us in our current position at all. Had it been a second or third yellow of the season, then yeah. Absolutely go ahead and vent. Just not when you're on four.

Yeah I get that. I just think as a young ish player he gets one. It’s not a habit and there’s worse things to be booked than celebrating in an opponents face.

If all 5 were for dissent them it would need addressing, but they weren't. The threshold for a yellow is pretty low now and Eccles has played every game. For a central midfielder, 5 in 14 games (16 incl cup) doesn't actually seem bad imo.

A poor night all round for Eccles. Silly silly yellow card and him passing the ball to their keeper in the last minute for some catching practice just summed up his evening.

Unlike Sheaf, who managed all of 5 minutes before that cracking 10 yard pass straight to their forward.

Eccles genuinely cares. I get the feeling he's giving it 100% both on and off the pitch this season to be the best player that he can be for the club. Ability wise, he shouldn't be anywhere close to Sheaf but man for man right now he's out performing him.

Thought he was the only one driving us forwards
Him and binks
Everyone else was at walking pace
Highly rated ref let a lot go and allowed their keeper 40 seconds each restart
