With respect you aren’t speaking for the forum. You are shooting from the hip and not being very rational.

So...again, why don't you do it?

The irony of you castigating those who go to the forum (whether justified or not) and not offering to do it yourself when you obviously think they're doing a bad job and then previously saying that those who don't attend matches have less valid opinions than those that do, certainly isn't lost on me.

It will be staged managed nonsense to make people feel better about themselves
They can try
The supporters forums are nothing like that and if anything the club tries too hard. Not necessarily Doug but John Taylor and mark and Jodie do.
if it is too stage managed there’s ways round that to ask what we need to

We'll never know that if people just going screaming and shouting
That’s why it’s invitation and whilst not perfect every question of point made to the club inside and outside of meetings receives a respectful answer even if not asked respectfully

Hence the bus service and changes to access to stadium even the fence in car park c

I maintain that while the manager is at fault for some really dubious decisions this season, the players are more so. Messing up at both ends of the pitch, not tracking back, not pressing, not knowing what to do and arguing on the pitch with the few professionals out there.

Some players there are taking this club for a ride because they’ve got themselves long contracts and think they’ve already made it. When there’s nothing riding on a game they decide to switch it on, when their manager’s job is at risk they turn in their worst game of the season. Pathetic.
Maybe the players had an issue with Robins?

I guess I'll just have to hope one of them has an interest in the future of the club then. I'd rather the balance was coming from forum representatives though.
I shouldn’t hate this but I do
My track record of stepping up and doing stuff rather than whinging into my computer stacks up in many areas not least on the issues relating to our club
So have some faith please

bollocks, it's invitation so they can control it

there's loads of fans not represented and that's wrong

Really???
look at the poll
Look at Facebook Twitter ask your fellow fans
Most are agreeing with my take
Some with yours
Have I shown myself to be rational in the past
I know you think I’ve had fuck all influence but many disagree with you

You're supposed to represent the forum as a whole and some of what you are suggesting is reactionary, childish nonsense that serves no good at all. I think people are unnecessarily rude to you sometimes when you go along to these things with your questions but if you and some others went in to this one and represented us in the way many are suggesting if would be a complete embarrassment.

You can't represent a forum as its a totally fragmented group of people with different backgrounds and interests - its pointless.

The non attendees are less relevant on specific issues and polls regarding boycotts for obvious reasons.

Including me and I agree and thanks for your ability to seek to diffuse and not escalate
I’m feeling less sad and angry today

Im also sick and tired of powerful people treating others with contempt (not saying Doug is here) but he has.

Some forums have been embarrassing and it’s very interesting that at the end John and mark always say don’t wait for a forum to feed issues in to the club and then always talks about my emails or phone calls to try and resolve items. We influence what we can and sometimes our input has meaningful effects like the George and John statue or the bus service

He's not going to u turn that one.
Stranger things have happened but I agree
You’d think having made a few clangers that he’d take opinions in. I’m surprised he didn’t take a feeling from supporters groups but as with other people who behave arrogantly on occasion they think they’re right so 90% of people disagreeing with him wouldn’t change his opinion

Interestingly I’ve communicated with our previous owner and tempted them into commenting and they wouldn’t be drawn in

yeah but still members of a few select groups of fans

if you can't see why that looks bad then wow
Wow!??

They’re representative from fans groups. How much more transparent can I be asking for questions and sharing them on here then sharing the answers and commenting on the further questions these raise

I take this role soberly and humbly knowing no one has ever really voted for me to do so. Mainly cause I know I’m good at influencing people jn authority and getting them to listen and change things and I’m not just talking ccfc

Grendel talked about ego - you talk about how bad the optics look wtaf! What do you want? No voice or contact with the club. That would be fine we’re only an on line forum that can easily be arranged cause that’s what we used to have pre trust and sisu falling out and then we had fuck all until mark and I met joy and Dave.

Can’t please all the people all the time so I have to focus on some some of the time

This will be a farce I fear , no supporters group representatives asking any tough questions or pushing doug back on any of his points for fear of never being asked back to stuff like this .. it will be a free reign for doug the mug to talk about his new vision

Surely there's a common interest of wanting the club to do well? Everyone on this forum wants one thing - success for CCFC - even you (I think).

It's not pointless. If we didn't have representation, we'd be moaning that it was a closed shop.

I think the main thing that’s coming through is an explanation of why he’s decided to not keep staff who were proven and to change the system and why he’s so involved in the football side. If you get one question make it around that. I want to know if he’ll own the decision or avoid it and if so who he points to as ultimately responsible.

As I say the mr and Doug one at cwr was a bit like that and it was an exciting time
I’m sure that’s what the pr guys will be saying and Lorna Bailey will go round with a microphone having asked for questions before the event and coming to individuals who have asked the right question

That said when I go back with name I’m going to ask that it’s the same format as the other forums and see what’s said

Can you really not grasp it doesn't look good that the only fans are people from a a select few vetted and official groups

What it should be is open to more people, especially after sacking a long serving and popular manager. There's loads of fans out there who are not going to be represented and have a say.
