So youāre saying thereās nothing wrong with the coaching,itās all down to Robins tactics.
We canāt defend set pieces, bring everyone back for corners and have no outlet.
The midfield is not functioning, we have stopped moving the ball quickly ( which is something we have become renowned for over the previous seasons ).
This in turn stops us getting the ball forward quickly to catch defenders unprepared.
The whole team set up is a shambles, but itās all down to the manager. The coaches have no responsibility for any of this.
Genuine question, what are the coaches actually doing on a day to day basis then ?
Robins has regularly started most of his seasons with us with a low risk passing game. Itās slow and cumbersome.
After it doesnāt work he reverts to the quick passing counter attacking game that suits us well, hence for me the reason we start the season badly usually.
maybe heād have done it again, but King clearly didnāt want to give him the chance.
his team selections have become more erratic, Rudoni at left back Sakamoto as the 10 more recently.
is he totally responsible? No - I feel the players share ultimately the main blame but you canāt fuck 25 players off, itās always the manage that gets canned.
the players look confused, as if they werenāt sure of what theyāre doing. This is translated to them via the manager.
In terms of coaches - thatās precisely what Iām on about, mass criticism but nobody knows what they do. Their job is to drill in what the manager is asking the team to do, Robins changes formation every week - how do you expect them to work on that?
