Jimmy Hill should have been in the middle of the roundabout on Jimmy Hill way as you come into the coventry by the stadium .

It is after all his road
Would love for the roundabout to be done up with Jimmy in the middle.

Looks abandoned at the moment which it was after the Olympics

How can anyone vote to say they would be happy with Frank lampard as manager is beyond me. The guy is a fraud as a manager.

Win percentage of 27% At Everton and 9% (1 win in 11 games with a very good Chelsea squad) in his last two jobs is saying he is on par with Wayne Rooney as one of the worst managers in recent times.

We NEED to look at other options otherwise we are back to facing the likes of Bristol Rovers, Northampton and Doncaster in the next few years.

Cucks, sims and soy boys

Did I get it right?

King is a salesman and businessman by trade

In no-way am i saying he’ll make the correct decision, but i’m pretty confident that he’ll talk a good game and be able to convince whoever he sees as his first choice.

He took over Monzo negotiations and secured that, and he’s made some other tough conversations, if he want Lampard i’m sure he’ll get him

Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but listened to ‘That Cov Pod’ this evening, and I know it’s Dawkins before anyone hammers me, but he said a friend of his who is mates with Lampard asked him if he was in talks and Lampard said no but he would be interested.

Again, I know it’s Dawkins.

Lampard is devoted to Lampard whereas Robins was committed to the Coventry project. You know Lampard will go if he gets a better offer. I would prefer a promising manager from L1 or a clever young technocrat who is behind the scenes at a big club.
Tbh if Lampard ends up with an offer to go elsewhere it means he's done a pretty good job and at this point I would take that...

You mean like Robins did in his first stint ??

Must admit I would be happy to give him a chance and out of all the names on the list he is one I would lean towards

But we can't be having a massive carry on... If he is going to string us along just fuck it off

That is if there is anything in these Roma links*

If it is Lampard, King wouldn’t not have got rid of Robins unless it was a done deal with Frank or someone else. Would be a massive high risk strategy not to have a new person lined up.

Agree with this. I imagine it’s been planned for a while and wouldn’t be surprised to see something announced today.

The same Dawkins who calls DK the Ego whilst at the same time creating a podcast so we can all hear his views on football. Oh the irony.

In terms of the betting world Lampard must have been approached and in advanced talks - Robbie Keane is in the wings as standby if Lampard don’t work out so Lampard is 4/9 on the Robbie Keane at 3 /1

You have to think longer term than that. We have benefited from consistency of management over time. If Lampard were to leave after a short burst of success ( and it would be short) we would be back into instability. Look to Ipswich and I am not sure why people are hostile to Schumacker

Curse on impatient owners unable to think long term
