you should see their socials - people trying to identify every match of theirs he’s been involved in and then every decision that ultimately cost them a league title. Embarrassing.

never a ref coming out saying ‘Villa were shit and Emery’s a c**t’ or anyone else for that matter.

My lad has lots of funny stuff happen and is brilliant at being professional and that’s what’s wrong here

Just two examples. Lots of questioning of decisions in an adult men’s game: two of them had been sin binned and the coach came on and complained and asked why. He said look you and your team are entitled to think that I’m shit as the standard of my decisions is subjective but once I’ve made a decision you and your players need to accept it and move on

he wanted to say you think I’m rubbish did you watch the passing and control and shooting of your team but you can’t do that

The other one was this Sunday u15 game 10 mins gone free kick given one of the lads audibly says you speccy twat! He calls him over and gives him the red card.
Coach comes on and says you can’t send him off for challenging the decision
Lad says why he’s sent him off and coach says ah no you can for that lol

Refs have to be super human in terms of self control

It's interesting, the referees I have spoken to have said Klopp on the pitch during a match is a nightmare. But one of the nicest managers there is once the game is over.

He always came across as a very sore loser in interviews after losses to me.

One of the best refs around. He was very good in our play off semi. It now appears he’s also a top bloke too.
