Might have been difficult to concentrate with all those tongues up his arse
Which reverts back to coaching, not the players themselves. Which I still think is the biggest factor of all.He focused a lot on tactics etc.
I thought he came across well.Dean Austen sounds like he should be selling fruit and veg at an East London market.
Did anybody seriously think that the Dr Claire woman picks the team and tactics rather than what he explained?

I thought he came across well.
Right then, the conspiracy theorists can take their tin foil hats off now.
Unless Doug King told barefaced lies, MR a) had final day on all signings and b) chose the coaching setup. Which is what common sense told us all.
AV and MR had a falling out for whatever reason and the failure to adequately replace AV led to MR because it was felt that the current coaches were not elite coaches.
I’m glad that DK called out the sexist narratives around Dr Roberts her remit is not ‘team performances’, it’s things like nutrition, S&C and lifestyle choices (sleep) to support player performances.
Like him or loathe him, you’ve got to respect King for facing the music in public to talk through his thought processes. There were some people in the audience that were quite arsey too.
No applause from meRound of applause for king. Apaprently I don't live in the real world where people are fuming though and won't move on
Can we stop calling her Dr claire roberts , it screams Glen hoddle 1998.
Like doug is bewitched
Just claire roberts surelyI was going to say performance director. I will say Roberts
He did say most interested wanted to be head coach, not assistant. To be fair, I could well believe that.If you think everything he said is true, or if you think everything he said is a lie you're mad.
I think the truth lies somewhere in between.
For example, I think he's probably right about what happened with Robins and Adi, but I don't believe for one minute they couldn't have got a decent assistant in and think they actively made sure it wouldn't happen
That was mental
I quite like King but at the same time I smell bullshit.
As for whose fault everything is, it’s often a matter of perspective, King might say Robins ripped it all up, Robins may well say King ripped it all up, unless someone has it documented in black & white that the other one didn’t want x,y,z then the talk of defamation is stupid and anyone can spin things however the want. King isn’t the devil, Robins isn’t all to blame, it’s shades of grey and they’re all involved.
Don’t feel we really learned anything or gained anything from that hour, big questions were left out, but it was entertaining alright
The bullet for me on this is simply. That was mental

Glazing on gurneys cock.
He was asked a question and then asked exactly the same question. What a waste of valuable time with the owner.I don’t think so I think he’s angry

Hell of a statement that. All the talk of bringing in new people in new roles. But the board? Yeah that’ll be me. I can do all that.Doug is "the board"

Love robins and will be eternally grateful but I’m firmly sitting in the King camp and backing him.
That's the same at every football club, the average manager lasts 12-18 months, before getting a big payoff.
We won't be short of applicants.
Dr Who?Just claire roberts surely
And with some of the comments to him and the staff on social media which he eluded too.. he may have lost a bit of loyalty to the club. The mission is now after that is don't get relegated or we're truly finished
