Did anybody seriously think that the Dr Claire woman picks the team and tactics rather than what he explained?

Right then, the conspiracy theorists can take their tin foil hats off now.

Unless Doug King told barefaced lies, MR a) had final day on all signings and b) chose the coaching setup. Which is what common sense told us all.

AV and MR had a falling out for whatever reason and the failure to adequately replace AV led to MR because it was felt that the current coaches were not elite coaches.

I’m glad that DK called out the sexist narratives around Dr Roberts her remit is not ‘team performances’, it’s things like nutrition, S&C and lifestyle choices (sleep) to support player performances.

Like him or loathe him, you’ve got to respect King for facing the music in public to talk through his thought processes. There were some people in the audience that were quite arsey too.

If you think everything he said is true, or if you think everything he said is a lie you're mad.

I think the truth lies somewhere in between.

For example, I think he's probably right about what happened with Robins and Adi, but I don't believe for one minute they couldn't have got a decent assistant in and think they actively made sure it wouldn't happen

Bit weird giving Rob Gurney a clap. That would have been far more productive with a single, professional interviewer picking apart answers. Obviously accept that it was a fans' forum, of course.

I quite like King but at the same time I smell bullshit.

As for whose fault everything is, it’s often a matter of perspective, King might say Robins ripped it all up, Robins may well say King ripped it all up, unless someone has it documented in black & white that the other one didn’t want x,y,z then the talk of defamation is stupid and anyone can spin things however they want. King isn’t the devil, Robins isn’t all to blame, it’s shades of grey and they’re all involved.

Don’t feel we really learned anything or gained anything from that hour, big questions were left out, but it was entertaining alright 😁

He did say most interested wanted to be head coach, not assistant. To be fair, I could well believe that.

We learned a lot in the first five minutes, even if you don’t believe it it says something. After that not so much.

The bullet for me on this is simply.

If Robins wanted to keep Adi, why didn’t he at any point either by statement or press pay respect for what Adi Vinesh has done with him.

That part is the part I struggled with. Some people are looking for that post, they may be happy as No.2 for now. 70 applications for a vacant manager but we couldn't find a single assistant?
