I don't necessarily disagree but it did take a number of those players a bit of time to get going and let's face it Gyok has gone on to do ways more than pretty much anyone would have imagined. What I'm trying to say is I'm not sure we are comparing apples with apples just yet.
I hear you but I’m talking about our squad right now verses the rest of the league. They were talking like we had some of the best players in the league I don’t even think we have many players that even make it into other teams starting XI

Bollocks

One thing I 100% agree with Doug on is that we have the quality to be challenging the top 6. Maybe an addition or two needed in Jan but we have a lot of talent at our disposal.

I suppose the safe standing will be out next year and in with the deck chairs! Oh I can’t wait to hear the first “deck” chant 😊.

I thought 'they' avoided using the word deck towards the end of the session after several people had slightly mocked it.
What a stupid word to use, I've certainly never heard it said before by other managers or coaches when being interviewed but then my football knowledge is gash as has been pointed out to me recently.

Which of our players would walk into a top 6 side?

Wright, Sheaf, MVE easily

Saka when he's back to his pre-injury best

Simms and Binks in the right system

Eccles as a squad player at least

Yep easily these.

Asante was a top scorer for a top 6 side last season. Bassette eventually will be at that level. Torp too.

When you have provided a deck containing CBs like Kitching for 4.5m and Wingers like EMC for 4.5m it's easy to see why Austin might well been relieved to see Mark carry the can.

Didn't he say that if there's a player who's older with no resale value that will bind everything together then it's not an issue?

January will be telling
He needs a rubber band for the deck, unless the new head coach uses the box

Go on then..I'll start the cringefest........To the tune of "who the deckin hell are you"

Our Decks the best for many years, our Decks the best for many years.

I’d be looking at a few HR. Courses for King. Very disrespectful word to use for employees .
just inappropriate.
