I don't necessarily disagree but it did take a number of those players a bit of time to get going and let's face it Gyok has gone on to do ways more than pretty much anyone would have imagined. What I'm trying to say is I'm not sure we are comparing apples with apples just yet.

One thing I 100% agree with Doug on is that we have the quality to be challenging the top 6. Maybe an addition or two needed in Jan but we have a lot of talent at our disposal.

My point is there isn’t just one factor in the poor results. Yes some coaching issues, yes a lack of leadership, yes some mistakes by MR.

Our inability to control games against weaker sides, over reliance on individual brilliance in attacking areas and struggling to break down teams that sit in.

Plus more than our fair share of bad luck and costly individual errors.

I thought 'they' avoided using the word deck towards the end of the session after several people had slightly mocked it.
What a stupid word to use, I've certainly never heard it said before by other managers or coaches when being interviewed but then my football knowledge is gash as has been pointed out to me recently.

Asante was a top scorer for a top 6 side last season. Bassette eventually will be at that level. Torp too.

I don't disagree that he's been good this season, but that wasn't the question. I don't think he walks into a starting XI for a top six side. If he keeps performing at this level for 6 months I'd probably change my answer.
