To add in more theories, his helicopter is on the car park over the road where the fair usually is!

Here's more theories, Mike Ashley is bankrolling the Lampard deal. 😱

I was told this last night. By the same person that told me that Robins had insisted that Viveash was fired due to a huge personal falling out, that Robins and King had a massive bust up weeks ago due to the lack of midfield signings and that the writing has been on the wall for quite some time. He's adamant that King and Ashley have already done a deal to sell once we hit the Premier League and that Ashley is helping fund the Lampard deal, on the understanding that we invest heavily in the loan market in January. I fully expect most of you to think it's bollocks, but I personally believe it.

I think it was @better days who said they'd heard something similar when the takeover happened.

If you check out the journey the helicopter took - it went from the London heliport in Battersea - into Ashley’s massive mansion (presumably to pick him up) then up to the CBS.

It's clear their relationship had deteriorated.
It's clear midfield recruitment was a fuck up.

I mentioned similar on another thread a few weeks ago.

King will likely sell to Ashley. I didn’t know a deal was done though, just MA is waiting for the right time.

He hasn’t done all the improvements on the arena just to be a good landlord.

If he wanted to buy the club why didn’t he at the time when it was in a massively distressed state?

I can see it to be fair.

I assume he wanted the stadium first but couldn’t get the club due to Doug’s exclusive deal.

Would line up with him throwing his toys out the park and throwing us out

This is the bit I always struggle with. The ROI for the stadium purchase alone must be fairly poor. But if the club was available and he didn’t buy, why would he look to buy at a higher price further down the line?

What a dream for a theorist.

MA wanted to secure the ground first. But during the time he was securing the ground King was in talks with SISU.

Or..

MA didn't want to try and deal with SISU as they took the piss as usual knowing he has a few bob in the bank. MA had an agreement with King that if the football club made it into the Prem or at least made the playoffs 3 times in 5 years he would buy the club for a certain price.

Or...

MA is buying the club but wants Lampard in place before the purchase goes through. This way he isn't to blame for getting rid of Robins. He has seen the potential with the attendances and money made on transfers.

If any of these guesses end up being correct I will claim my place as NITK
