Oh I wasn't even against a statue either. I was just pointing out the "hearing is voice" stuff.I think Robins did more for this club than anyone in decades, and IMHO dismissing him was unfair, rash and an unnecessary risk to the club.
However I'm with you on this point Nick. Jimmy Hill created the Sky Blues, galvanised the whole city in support of the club, and transformed the whole of football itself in a number of ways. His statue makes sense. Mark Robins was an absolute gem of a manager, and deserves some kind of permanent recognition. But not a statue IMHO.
