Recon Lampard holding out for the six finger team job?
Urghhh, this development could cause Doug's plan to go tits up. I sincerely hope it will not effect our decision making process.

Just wonder why King didn’t go for RVN, clearly the majority of fan’s ideal manager from those that were seriously discussed. His overall demeanour is more positive and passionate, and he seems to play a decent style of football. I’d love to know what swung it for Lampard over any other candidate tbh.

RVN waiting for a Premier League club to come along, Leicester's job is available now, watch this space.

Put that team together on a lot less than we’ve spent, it sure to expect too much this season but give him the summer and he’d def improve the squad,

They had spent over £20m the preceding two years if you’re counting previous spend. With inflation it’s probably not a million miles off our current squad value.

I meant that’s what he brought in, he‘d do the same here in the summer, just add to what we’ve already got, some of those loans are pretty impressive, it’s a shame we don’t have loan players anymore 😂

And I often wonder why I didn't bag Megan Fox

Have you considered the possibility that RVN wasn’t seriously interested in taking the job? There are lower end Prem jobs about to become available, such as Leicester who’ve just sacked Cooper.

No way Lampard fancies that Leicester job and there's no way they fancy him.

There’s Potter and Moyes available too if they want another crack at the Prem.

Leicester’s team isn’t good enough to stay up irrespective of who their manager is imo.

Probably because he didn’t apply and/or he didn’t actually want the job.

Oh fair enough, I thought he was genuinely interested in the job tbh 🤷🏻‍♂️ I haven’t followed the ins and outs of it because it’s basically nothing to do with what any of us on here think, and I cba to be involved in the constant arguing on here (not having a go at anyone, there is just generally a lot of unnecessary bickering on here).

I always thought RVN would go somewhere better than us tbf but when I heard the rumours he’d applied for the job I thought he was genuinely interested, but maybe not?

Player power has been rife there since they won the Prem, Vardy absolutely rules the roost

Don’t forget the group of players who won the Prem not even a year later went behind Ranieri’s back to Vichai and demanded he was sacked

That has to be the most craziest sacking ever, any other club they would have had a statue made.

surely whoever it is will be in place for Saturday, nothing announced until after Tuesdays game, give him weds, thurs fri with the players working with Carr ready to go against Cardiff, take over properly next Monday, gives him a full week then to bring his coaching team In ready for the milwall game, pretty smooth transition

A good time to sack Cooper imo,
Leicester might not be in the bottom 3 yet but Wolves and Ipswich are starting to pick up points, so it was only a matter of time.

The new manager will have a month to assess the squad before the January transfer window opens.

Totally played us in the media. Never had any intention of applying for or taking the job

Absolutely if it gives us a chance of hiring Cooper. Wish they’d done it 2-3 weeks ago!
