When Dr Roberts was recruited, it was substantiated by the rationale that she would be able to find “that hidden one or two percent” that could be the key factor in us elevating ourselves and get over the line where historically we had fallen just short.

It was referenced she had a psychology background and would ensure players emotionally were better prepared in-game and for season defining moments.

She would be working with the sports scientists to ensure nutrition was on point. Again helping us to find those small differentials over the season

She would work on recruitment to ensure ‘the right type of characters’ were brought into the club.

Taking pure misogyny out of it. She would have had KPI’s and targets in her role. She was brought in to elevate performance, and we have stalled. And her key remit, to make those small differences for us, clearly hasn’t happened. And with that, her position absolutely needs to be under scrutiny.
Our performance has not measurably improved.

We have conceded first every single game in living memory. Clearly now a psychological issue for players.
Clearly unhappy signs in the camp, Robins referenced Dovin coming across to the country young and not being emotionally fully ready. Again areas of pre-screening i would have expected her role to capture.

Our players look KNACKERED in every single game this season. Doug can spout stats at us about perceived improvements, but absolutely no evidence of that on the pitch.

So the same as Robins was ultimately found to be the most accountable, and lost his job for it. All others involved absolutely needs to be equally scrutinised
This is the stupidest thing ive ever read on this forum and fuck me thats really saying something

Most of the post is a bit silly, but regardless of performances, I think this season we’ve generally actually not looked knackered at all. Quite the opposite.

“She only deals with the very small incremental 1-2% improvements, that are so small and incremental they’re hard to see and can only be seen through data analysis. Therefore it must be all her fault” is basically the jist 😂

“Clearly now a psychological issue” 😂 could it also maybe be a footballing one? Tactics maybe?

Obviously nothing wrong with scrutinising the person for the job they’re doing. However, laying the vast majority of blame at their feet is absolutely wild.

Agreed. We definitely don't look knackered. Fitness levels have definitely improved on last year. As has squad size and rotation. It's just not clicked. Frank needs to sort the defence. I would go with

MVE, Thomas, Kitching, Binks. 433, Dovin in goal.

Feeling a lot more positive about this than I was a few weeks ago.

This is the first time in decades where we’ve had a managerial change with the club being in decent shape off the pitch. In the Championship that is half the battle.

No reason at all that we can’t keep on progressing.

And I don’t think Lampard would be joining unless Doug has made some significant promises to him.

Anybody but robins and they were all nasty to him because they stopped him getting us top of the league

Robins is the only person with any accountability at the club and everyone else is a highly competent professional forced by him to do badly.

Happy Frank day everyone! On the sports performance part the Docs kpis will be reducing body fat ratio, increased stamina faster reaction times the kind of things that poor coaching doesn't take advantage of. You can be the fittest version of Messi but if the tactics employed don't match your strengths or the players are not capable of taking them in you're in the shit. Sometimes the smallest improvement can be hidden by confusing messages, were about to find out. If it's Frank then good luck, I hope you achieve your goals which means we will achieve ours.

Just heard Forrest swooped in at the 11th hour to sign him but he’s going to manage Olympiacos for the rest of the season
If there's one thing I hate more than Forest, it's the other Forest with an extra R in their name.

Utter barstewads that lot.

So not one part of their particular job? Which of them suggested Rudoni at left back?

The following areas have been worse this season than prior: defensive organisation, attacking patterns, player mentality, player fitness, overall player motivation, backroom harmony, value for money of signings. Other than Eccles every player has gone backwards individually.

I’ll put it another way, what do you think has improved this season?

Non of the players we now recruit have ego's right. So that has to be a good thing.
They all fit in

Difficult for Robins tho as we said yesterday he was in essence the DOF at the club. Whether his coaches let him down, it was his team that he assembled.

At work if a whole team stopped working, they wouldn’t sack all the staff but the manager.

Fitness - doesn’t appear to be an issue. We appear to play to the 90th minute based on the late goals we score

player morivstion, mentality and harmony - that would be Robins. Maybe if he didn’t sack his assistant he’d have this sorted

Value for money signings - EMC doesn’t appear great, Rudoni will be good as will Binks, Bassette looks like a good find. Dovin seems to have a confidence issue

Defensive Organisation - Being coached by the GK coach - inexplicable that one.

attack patterns - again, Robins called up both Delaney and Dempster, signed up Boateng. Turns out not great appointments.

I’ll give you Delaney, Dempster, Williams - likelyhood they’ll go anyway. Probably drop back to U21s

We’ve always scored late goals! Robins teams were famous for it. Robins Time and all that.

You say Adi was keeping everything together, but that just means those that took over from him aren’t. You say on one hand it wasn’t Robins job and it was down to his assistants and coaches then absolve his assistants and coaches of all blame. Make it make sense.
