Hey,

To criticise Trump: fine, he’s no saint. But don’t diss the based hillbilly.
Yep

Vance has written that his childhood was marked by poverty and abuse, and that his mother struggled with drug addiction.[18] Vance and his sister Lindsey were raised primarily by his maternal grandparents, James (1929–1997) and Bonnie Vance (née Blanton; 1933–2005), whom they called "Papaw" and "Mamaw".[19]

Vance (then Hamel) in the US Marine Corps, 2003
At age 17, Vance began his first job, as a cashier at Dillman Foods, a local grocery store.[20] After graduating from Middletown High School in 2003, Vance enlisted in the United States Marine Corps,[21] where he served as a military journalist with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.[22] During his four-year service, he was deployed to Iraq in 2005 for six months in a non-combat role, writing articles and taking photographs.[21] He attained the rank of corporal and his decorations included the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.[22][23][24]

Using the G.I. Bill,[25][26] Vance attended Ohio State University from September 2007[27] to August 2009,[28] graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts with majors in political science and philosophy.[29] Vance then attended Yale Law School,[30][31] where he formed a close friendship with Jamil Jivani, a future Conservative member of Canadian parliament.[3] During his first year, Professor Amy Chua persuaded Vance to begin writing his memoir, Hillbilly Elegy.[32] In 2010 and 2011, Vance wrote for David Frum's "FrumForum" website under the name J. D. Hamel.[33][34] He graduated in 2013 with a Juris Doctor degree.[30] Although Hillbilly Elegy implies that Vance adopted his grandparents' surname of Vance upon his marriage in 2014,[35] the name change actually occurred in 2013, as he was about to graduate from Yale.[2]

Why is a woman being the victim of a sexually motivated robbery in her own home fodder for your snarky comments? Because you don’t like her boss?

She spent $1.5 Billion

I do not think she is drunk, I mean issuing a video of you being drunk, but something weird going on, was this released to kill any future participation?

Not really. Same as the corbynite brexiters. Some people just want radical change.
Corbyn was a Brexiter at heart who should have stuck to his guns. Those who have pivoted from Bernie to Trump are mostly on the grift, there will always be a billionaire prepared to fund you spreading right wing nonsense, much less common on the left.

Trumpers are generally anti establishment, distrustful of centrist politics, social issues aside the drivers are very similar in terms of economic populism. Tariffs, lower immigration, suspicion of trade deals.

Exactly.

The “centre left” are the deep establishment but don’t understand that they are. High tax, high regulation, policies that put state over family, stifling of ambition, more likely to support fake ideological wars (expecting brickbats for saying this but we know deep down it is true) and more likely to be involved dodgy business (Biden, SBF, Nancy P) hugely hypocritical and massively authoritarian. The irony is that they then project that their opponents are the ones who a guilty of the things that they themselves do. It’s is Stalin-esque.

The tactic of placing their ethos in the corridors of higher education is a method to influence future influencers.

The deep establishment rigged an election they weren’t in power for, but didn’t rig one when they were.

Schrödinger’s deep establishment, SBT’s crackpot lunatic.

Some interesting numbers coming from a recent poll.

What should Trump’s priority be? Reducing prices, 80% of voters.

Do you support Trump’s tariffs? Yes, 52%

Will Trump’s tariffs make things more expensive? Yes, 59%

Make it make sense.

When you’ve loudly declared all common sense a corrupt liberal elite conspiracy that’s all you’re left with.

The more expensive things will be those that are imported - US sourced goods should be cheaper - if we did that in UK we could save farming !

Spot on and just as in the UK, people are sick to the back teeth of the wimpy progressive woke agenda.
I'd also add that the blatant weaponising of the justice system against political opponents was a move that disgusted and outraged many Americans. it was a massive OG for the Biden (Obama) regime.

Yes Trump has always been a stalwart against using the judicial process against your enemies!

Not to mention that the belief that the son of a billionaire isn’t part of ‘the establishment.’ As for Biden and co being centre left - hahahaha.

Talk of ‘being sick of the progressive woke agenda’ is the ultimate gaslighting explanation for the election result.

The Harris campaign was neither progressive nor woke, they were touting the support of Dick Cheney!

and also starve.

British farming could not meet the demands of the population.
