Hull will surely have a new manager by then. Would be incredibly spicy if it’s MR
Cardiff (H)
Millwall (A)
WBA (A)
Hull (H)
Portsmouth (A)
What do we reckon? I’m going optimistic: new manager bounce and a healthy 10 points. WDLWW
You were crying about how shit he was just last week
Emotion card played again?
So thank you Doug for making the change?Im gonna go up to the new year
Call it ridiculousness with the new manager feeling but. ....

Hull W
Pompey W

Genuinely think we go on a mental run and are top 10 comfortably by the time we go and pick up our yearly defeat away to Norwich
This team can't defend, and we have a bloke in charge now who likes to attack. That is the only way we will do anything until the Jan window.
It will be typical Cov to go on a run like that aswell. We always do it once a season
Optimistic. And even a shit manager should be able to get 2-3 wins out of that.
So far this team has managed a grand total of two good consecutive performances. If he gets 10 from them I’d be equally impressed and surprisedIm gonna go up to the new year

It's definitely a mental issue with the players but that is such a huge part of the game. If we get momentum it could happen but I think it's safer to be more realistic, based on our performances so far.So far this team has managed a grand total of two good consecutive performances. why not, apart from Leeds and Burnley we’ve been in every game, we’re scoring enough to be top 7 ,either tighten up at the back or just score more it doesn’t need a lot to turn things around,Im gonna go up to the new year

It was beyond MR to get a tune out of them this season, perhaps FL with more experience of working with ‘modern’ young pros can instead. I still hold the players largely responsible for the shit form and they have no excuses now. It's definitely a mental issue with the players but that is such a huge part of the game. Robins was able to do it the last two years, fingers crossed that Lampard can get it out of them.

Can add Stoke to that list.Well we lost to Sheff W, Derby, Swansea and Preston. None are exactly powerhouses in this league and Wright was available in all of them.
Seems to be our opponents’ game plan most weeks!Be nice to score the first goal. go 2 or 3 up, then I don't mind if the other team score a goal
Well you cannot blame the new manager for the players he has inheritedThe swing in opinion is incredible. The 'failed Derby manager' seems to have transformed to 'the messiah' after a couple of good YouTube interviews.
We'll be lucky to win 2 of these 5, our defenders and simply not good enough.
Definitely agree with the last bitIt was beyond MR to get a tune out of them this season, perhaps FL with more experience of working with ‘modern’ young pros can instead. I still hold the players largely responsible for the shit form and they have no excuses now.
I'm not saying that, I'm saying predicting 6 wins out of the 8 games before Christmas is just mental. This team will only be up to standard once the defensive issues are addressed, we can't hope to score 3 goals every week.Well you cannot blame the new manager for the players he has inherited
Maybe they’ll respond to him better than they have to an old school type like MR. Have to hope so anyway.Definitely agree with the last bit
MVE IS a good player. Without doubt.
But he has produced a number of under par performances this season. He just seems out of form. No idea why.
Sheaf IS a good player. This season his performances have been sub-par on a number of occasions. We do know he has been carrying an injury though.
Simms. Look at at his stats last season. This season he seems completely bereft of any confidence.
I know some are saying we are not a good side, but you have to take into account the fact that good players are underperforming and that does make us look worse
If Sheaf and MVE can produce their best levels again, we know they are top players in this division.
You can blame Robins for a number of things, but you can't blame him for players being out of form.
Hopefully FL being here will give players a new lease of life and boost their performance levels.
Definitely agree with the last bit

Yeah, but that's a little unfair. Because at first he looked a poor buy and then suddenly came good. So the stats are obviously a little bit skewed because of that.Simms stats for a lot of last season were very poor. Van Ewyick has never looked that great either as a wing back.
I would just add, I don't think we are a poor side at all.Yeah, but that's a little unfair. Because at first he looked a poor buy and then suddenly came good. So the stats are obviously a little bit skewed because of that.
I think on many occasions, MVE has looked a very good player.
Definitely not playing so well this season.

I think we are maybe two or three players away from being a very good side.
Back 4 last season when we played our best was always , mve, kitching, Thomas bidwell, with collins, somethings Drastically gone wrong with them ? Being coached differently, midfield not defending ?Our back line is abysmal - none of them are players you’d associate with a good side.
MVE is quality when played as a right back. Our back line is abysmal - none of them are players you’d associate with a good side.
Spot On, one of the best in the league, been playing wing back and been getting caught out, same as da silva, if bidwells fit enough he starts tomorrow, 433MVE is quality when played as a right back.
We will have to agree to disagree then. Our back line is abysmal - none of them are players you’d associate with a good side.
