I agree with the calm the fuck down part I will admit I chat absolute shite when we loose but most fans do 😂

You've gotta look at it the other way around tho, £40 quid for a ticket, this new chairman has sacked Mark Robins, absolutely no reason to, okay Robins and Ady fell out, so let Robins realise his ego has got the better of him towards the end of the season when we have placed 11th in the league and he accepts the coaching team are utter shit, Robins would have gone and found a head coach come then.

Instead he's said the club needs absolute best in class Head Coach so he hires Lampard, a guy that couldn't lace Robins boots quite frankly.

So now what Lampard is in and this shower of shit on the pitch is just going to magically fix itself? It don't work like that does it.

Let's get fucking real now, I have been calling out Bobby, Kitching, Joel and to a lesser extent Binks because he rarely got an opportunity before we actually signed him.
I have banged on about the fact they are absolute horse radish at their job.

In the summer, we needed at the least 1 centre back that is worth 5 million quid
1 left back again worth 3-4 million quid
And we needed a box to box midfielder again 5 million and a attacking midfielder (loan)

£13-£15 million quid on 3-4 players that we desperately needed sorting.

Instead, we signed Asante, Bassette, Mason Clarke, Borges, Dovin and Jack Rudoni.

I'm sorry but where the fuck is the the left back?
Where the fuck is the 5 million pound 28 year old centre back that will come in and instantly fix up the 4 frauds we currently have in that position.

Lastly the box to box midfielder that we have needed since we sold Hamer, where was this? Again, we missed out on Stamenic but didn't have a second option? It's just honestly laughable at this point.

Now let's put perspective into the fold, it's a Tuesday, night, Wednesday night, Saturday Afternoon or a 3pm kick on Saturday.
You're freezing your bollucks off its fucking shite weather outside but you make the journey to the CBS to watch Coventry City play. It costs the best part of £40 a ticket and then you spend £30 in the stadium.

You sit there and watch a group of lads earning 10 grand a week, playing absolutely shit, not looking like they are playing for the badge and quite frankly they also look like they have nothing in common with us fans.

It wasn't long ago, we had Gyok, Gus, Fadz, O'Hare, Kelly, Sheaf, Godden, Palmer and Ben Wilson. All these players felt like they were part of the CCFC family, I can't put the word on it but you get what I mean.

Looking at the squad now, honestly Sheaf, MVE and when he plays Ben Wilson are the only players that have that connection.

Look at the squad, that family feel we have had so much success with has disappeared, and it hasn't been for the best.

So there's alot of things to be pissed off about at the minute and DK and Lampard will be the 2 individuals that will be getting it the worst if they do not go out and sign, 2 centre backs, a left back and a box to box midfielder.

Mark my words, those defenders got Robins the sack we can talk about Simms, Wright, the midfield all night but the facts are they will ruin anyone's reputation simply because Binks, Kitching. Joel and Bobby are a shower of shit, they have no business being at our football club.

Why do you call some players by their first name & not others?

tbf you are a doom mongerer in general though.
Yeah I'm not going into this whole thing again and to be clear, it isn't true either. If I were a fan of some other team and all other things being equal I would still say CCFC look like they're in trouble.

We had many people calling for Robins' head this season and the seasons before, others creating polls on his sacking week by week, I wasn't one of them. I'm saying what I see-this team's in a scrap and it's down to Lampard and the players to get out of it.

Same and jumped in at £550… I have the displeasure of having a 95% attendance record this season (home and away).

Like many others, I was emotionally drained after the FA Cup semi final. At this rate, it’ll be Feb before the grey hairs start appearing.

Don't think I have ever said that the team IS going down, happy to stand corrected. You can try to argue that we aren't in any danger, but each week that goes by with us hovering above the bottom 3 makes that argument a bit harder to defend.

Lampard has only had one game at the helm. We need to give him time to stamp his authority on the team.

That, yesterday, was much more likely to be Carr's team, rather than Lampard's. He only had a couple of days working with the players and I honestly don't believe these are all bad players. I just don't.

Sheaf IS a good player - Just not showing it right now. Guessing, that if it's true what Saddles said, he's taking painkilling injections, that is a part of the problem.

He's just not the same Ben Sheaf out there right now. He's out of form and we can only guess at the reasons.

Eccles is a good player - Two poor performances amongst a string of good ones, doesn't make him a bad player.

MVE - God knows what's going on with him right now, but he's a good player too. Most definitely out of form.

Wright is a very good player and should be back soon.

Thomas' passing is atrocious, but the rest of his game is pretty decent. Put another decent CB alongside him and I think he'll be fine.

Bidwell is a decent enough left back at this level. Just a little slow. Hoping we can upgrade on him in January.

Saka is good enough. Simms, we know CAN score goals (another player out of form).

Bassette is a very promising player and I think he could be an excellent weapon to have in our armoury. Just need to know when and when not to include him

I know they haven't pulled up any trees, but for me, the jury is still out on EMC and BTA. I still think it's too soon to dismiss them.

I would say we are 2 or 3 players away from having a good side. CB, midfield playmaker and a fullback/wingback.

It is a bit of a worry that we really could do with cover on both sides. RB and LB.

Said it many times. I am only happy when Dasilva plays further up the pitch. He worries me as a defender.

I think we'll be fine, but even for those who don't, you've got to give Lampard time to stamp his identity on the players and the way he wants us to play. It's not an instant fix.

Im not worried about relegation at all… but I am miffed about the dross served up this season. I’ve had to miss the last 2 games which is rare… so maybe missing yesterdays has protected me from what sounds like a complete evaporation of any positivity after such a disjointed and poor performance. Franks on the case…now he’s in I’m feeling pretty good about the whole situ.

Going to take more than 48 hours for FL to sort out the mess created in the last 18 months

What mess are you specifically referring too ? The same players were getting results last season

18 months ago we made a playoff final , 7 months ago an fa cup semi final and 6 months ago we finished 9th In the championship

Alot of The last 18 months have been some of the best the clubs had since the Premier league

I find it all a bit weird.

We're just not doing as well as we should be. We are not in danger of relegation and people need to stop panicking.

Robins or lamaprd. Doesn't matter. No one should be worrying too much with current league position or form.

It's not great. But it's not a crisis either

Teams who consistently concede two goals a game are very much in danger of relegation

Agree. I think we will be fine.

We do need to do a little bit of good business in January though for sure

And we DO need to give Lampard a chance. He's only been here 2 minutes.

I've seen posts mentioning the L2 season!
It's madness.

Saw someone on here say that yesterday’s match was proof that King was right to sack Robins- a person who was probably at least 50 miles away from the ground and who had zero influence on anything for the last couple of games. The scramble to discredit all that he did and make out he’s left a huge mess that will get us relegated is very disappointing & very weird. That magic we had as a fanbase is all gone.

Agree with all this and I do think there’s a lot that can be sorted out by coaching and giving the players some confidence. We look devoid of ideas and just pass the ball around the back for most of games.

It all depends whether FL and his staff are the people to do that.

King has made mistakes, or at least decisions that haven’t panned out well, but Robins assembled the squad and pushed Vivesh out.

No one person is to blame but the wheels have fallen off and some of it is due to Robins.

Whether we spent it well or not isn't really relevant to his point.
His point is this decline has started, at worse, end of last season. So not 18 months.

And I agree with the theory we went all in on the cup run which affected the league form, but even if you disagree with that this group of players were performing well up until 9 months ago.

One saving grace that helps us is that although we've been picking up injuries as we go along we enter this hard period of the season with an almost intact squad Allen & Bidwell just got back in contention, Wilson and Raphael must be very close to a return (or start in the case of Rapha) and judging by what's been said I do not think Haji will be out overlong.

Ok so if being pedantic then lets say 15 months from when transfer business was concluded.
