Surely it's time to give Dovin an extended run in the side now.

Dovin has been fairly average so far but Collins and Wilson aren't going to get any better, Dovin is so give him a chance.

Fair enough Collins played because the other two were injured, but statistically he's the worst goalkeeper in the league this season, by some distance - he's currently costing a goal a game (-0.98/game) with dreadful shot stopping (next worst is on -0.47 per game, then Wilson is third worst at -0.36!). And he's one of only three keepers not to claim a cross all season.

The stats are horrendous.

Sheff United had 2 shots on target we conceded 2 goals!
Burnley had 3 shots on target, we conceded 2 goals.
Cardiff had 4 shots on target and we conceded another 2 goals.

I don’t believe Collins deserves another start. If he starts against Millwall then what would it say about the way the others are performing in training…..

Still don’t understand why Dovin was dropped. People on here moaned about him, but then again people on here are unhinged.

I agree I’d like to see Dovin given a fair chance, even if he makes couple of mistakes, he needs a bit of time to learn on the job.
He wasn't dropped this time. Got injured pre Sunderland and Collins played ok.

Agree, stick with Dovin. Having 3 keepers play in our starting 11 already sums up what a disorganised mess we are defensively.

100% agree on Dovin and hope Saturday was due to Frank taking a lot of advice from Rhys as he wouldn’t have time to really evaluate his squad.

Curiously where does Dovin rank?

Yep, Dovin needs a run, he's not had all that to do when he's played and he's not dropped a bollock yet unlike the other two. We sunk a big chunk of cash into getting him so may as well give him time to develop and adjust to the Championship.

I was raging at the second goal yesterday, looked really poor from Collins live. On review it was a decent swerving effort that the defence should have closed down.

I think think you shouldn’t get beaten like that from that range. Should have your posts covered.

Collins just isn't up to standard, simple as.
His distribution is good and he's alright with the ball at his feet but other than that he's pants.

Wilson is one of those where he can have 10 unbelievable games, followed by 10 howlers, which is why he's always been a backup.

Dovin is young, highly rated and was supposed to be our number 1.

I think the trial runs of Collins and Wilson are well and truly done at this point.

He totally could have done better but on the highlights it's not quite as horrendous as it looked from where I was sat in real time. Didn't quite see the swerve live.

Both goals were crap defending. Really hope we can get a specialist defense coach in. Been crap since Lawrence left. I've not fully given up on the 4 CBs yet all pretty young. I like to see us targeting someone with a bit of experience to settle them down and set standards in January. Also desperate for cover for MvE as when he's off it he looks awful, be nice to give him a break and give him some competition.

Sod it I'll take a LB whilst I'm at it

I'd bring Dovin back in.

Not entirely convinced by him (not vocal enough or command his box enough) but he's not had a terrible game.

Collins didn't hold a single shot yesterday - every single one bounced off him into the six yard area. As a coach I'd look at that and make sure a striker was always following in. Plus in the few games he's played he's let some shots pretty much at him through his hands because of spaghetti wrists.

The fixation on changing keepers as a way to solve our defensive woes has held us back ever since we moved away from the ultra-safe 3ATB style. Invest in some decent centre-backs ffs.

Collins does a bad impression of a goalkeeper, let Dovin have another chance, except for not coming for crosses (mind blowing why not) he’s made some decent saves, Collins really couldn’t save a penny.

What a load of tosh , Collins has had to face the top sides in 3 out 4 of his appearances. He's not infallible but he has been left very exposed by the defenders.

Dovin for Wilson I semi understood with wanting a bigger voice and communicator.

But Collins, looked ok last season but has been hopeless so far. 8 goals conceded in 4 games is so poor, and even the save he did make yesterday was poor.

Dovin hasn't made any real mistakes and whilst he isn't a dominating keeper the only way he becomes that is with experience and being allowed to develop into it.

Take into account last season too, Collins exposed or not, is a terrible goalkeeper, can’t see how you believe that’s tosh.

Id bin off Collins keep Wilson and Dovin. Wilson is a fairy experienced championship keeper who is vocal and a good shop stopper.
decide who is going to be number one between them and get rid of Collins. Collins never comes for a cross and thats two games now since hes been back we have conceded goals where he should have done better
