Fair play for breaking the tension with a cheeky exaggeration. Couple of wins and we'll all be asking £20 million for them all again.Recruitment is absolutely woeful, kudos dean
Finally that gif gets a suitable use!Millwall’s manager quit straight after making the semi-final that year btw, because of their bad league performance
Here we go again. It's nutsIncredible is a good way to put it - we had one of the easiest roads to the semi-final you could ever imagine. It takes on outsize importance because of those Wolves and Man Utd games (one of which we still lost!) and we’ll all wear it as a badge of honour, but you can’t use it to say last season was a success or that it proved much about Robins’ abilities.
Again, I’m a huge fan of Robins and his legacy speaks for itself. But his legacy isn’t defined by a cup run, especially one where precisely one of the games we won was a match you wouldn’t fancy us to win.Why can't we just move on without trying to pick apart Robins" legacy?
Having more options is only an advantage if you know how to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Could see it at clubs like Bolton or Charlton, wouldn’t see it at NorthamptonNorthampton Town job is available, would Robins drop down to league one?

Go on. Who cost more than say £500k and was a failure other than Walker?
Hull have the Reading manager lined up , ..Robins has never proved himself managing another club apart from us.Bit late to this, but it got me thinking. There’s a decent handful of players that Robins chased and chased - Walker being one of them - and then when he had them for whatever reason didn’t utilise them particularly well. Kitching is another that we know of, and from the fans forum the talk that Wilson-Esbrand was a specific player Robins wanted surprised me. What’s up with that?

That was in the Premier league though, right?Selles won 2 in 17 at Southampton before going reading
YesThat was in the Premier league though, right?
So what was Russell Martins record in the championship vs Premier League?
Chaplin another.
Still a reasonable number of clubs within a 50 mile radius thoughRobins will not relocate from Belper area so limits his next role.
Chaplin another.
The post was about good players he bought that he didn't get the best out of. Chaplin is a good example, no criticism of Robins in that he has an eye for a player but it doesn't always work out.Chaplin who is currently playing PL football, that Chaplin?
The lengths people are going to to downplay everything from the last eight years. Do I need to dig out all the article praising our recruitment over the years?

Sometimes managers can be poor when they first start in management and then get going .Selles won 2 in 17 at Southampton before going reading

It takes me at least an hour to get to work, is it that much of an issue?I hope Lampard and his coaching team will find somewhere much closer than Belper which is an hours drive away!

To be fair, we made money on Chaplin and then used his fee to buy Godden who got us promoted and went on to be one of our record goalscorers of all time (5th).The post was about good players he bought that he didn't get the best out of.
