She's only young, she'll have her chance. Don't forget a bloke took one of the two women's spots this year.
I mean outside of the worlds. Beau Greaves has been the best woman’s player for 2/3 years now.

Greaves isn’t in the worlds becuase she’s competing in the WDF. But she deserves far more exposure to the other tournaments that Sherrock gets invited to

They changed the rules last year to get Sherrock in with the women’s match play title

Greaves turned down playing at Ally Pally this year I think

It's the last year of the deal between the PDC and The Ally Pally, the contract is up for renewal...

I'd hate for it to move, Ally Pally is iconic but demand absolutely dwarfs supply these days (me and a few pals tried for tickets and didn't get a sniff)

I have a horrible gut feeling Hearn is going to move it somewhere else for next year and beyond, I wouldn't rule out Saudi

I also think what FS did back in 2019, the exposure it got and her being a recognisable face/name, is still enhancing that pathway for the next generation like Greaves. It was originally a bit of a tick box until she beat Evetts and that made a lot (including me tbf) sit up and take note.

He'll definitely have a big tournament there, but I don't think it will be the Worlds

Can’t imagine the train times would be pleasant trying to get to Saudi and back between Christmas and New Year.

On the upside you wouldn't have to hear anything about Yaya, Kolo or anyone wanting to drink all of your beer. Ffs get some new songs! Every cloud.

Yeah she can’t compete in both this and the WDF women’s. I’ve got no issue with Sherrock actually being there - she qualified within the criteria (which was changed last year to accommodate her as she hadn’t initially qualified)

what annoys me is the PDC throw everything behind her all year round, it was almost a formality that she’d be playing Littler - forgetting of course she’d have to get past the first round. “Queen of the palace” etc. she’s not progressed since 2019.

next year they’ll probably give out “wild card” seeding

Guess you haven’t been then? Brilliant atmosphere and that’s what it’s all about.

I've only really got into Darts over last few years, but I don't see how anyone can't sit down and genuinely enjoy it. I love football but I'd rather watch this than Spurs v Man U 😴

Painful for Smith. Gone from 2nd to 15th in the rankings at the moment. Will probably drop to 20-24th by the end of the tournament.
