IF things don’t go to plan & we don’t play for anymore than 20 minutes , Boxing days game could turn very toxic .
I would hope that our very expensive assembled squad , would be in for extra tuition today ……..I know ……Ideal world !

Let's look at it another way and instead of waiting for it to go wrong, try and get behind the team

I thought the support they had throughout the whole game at Portsmouth was absolutely outstanding. That level of support wasn't justified considering the level of effort and performance the players put in.

The game will be harder now because Plymouth will of watched our game yesterday and will fancy their chances.

I expect them to target Dasilva and Binks, and put crosses right under the crossbar and to rattle Collins.

If your a Plymouth striker you'll be rubbing your hands with excitement at the prospect of getting on the score sheet.

Lampard needs to change things up, we need Bidwell and either Kitching or Lats in to tighten the defence, Dovin HAS to start, and I'd play Simms up front.

We have to start positively and take the game to them.

We didn't show any fight either yesterday.
We have to be much more up for it Boxing day.

And to be fair, there have been several games this season where we've fought back from losing positions so Christ knows why they were so passive yesterday.

I think we missed Eccles in the middle of the park. I know he's not everyone's favourite, and his passing might not be the best, but theres no way we lose the battle if he's in there. He's the only one who can put a foot in.

Although Eccles won't stop Collins from diving over a simple shot, or stop Dasilva getting roasted at every attack. Or stop Binks from failing to get a challenge on his man.

Yeah Eccles is one of them who’s got a bit of fight in him for sure.

Mainly aimed at Collins

Sarcastic cheering when he caught the ball
Shouting 'You're shit ahhhhh' at goal kicks
Booing when he played the ball short

Hardly going to help the team is it

Perhaps fed up of spending a small fortune watching him continually fek it up along with a couple of other partners in crime. Tbf some should be directed at the management for continually selecting them, but if we can't vocally let them know it's not ok and they keep being selected should we just say ah well nevermind? Tbh anyone who pays their money to attend can do what they want and you call our fans a disgrace who probably are making sacrifices someone leaking goals on about £10k a week won't really understand.

Not that I agree with that sort of thing, but he looked like he couldn't have given any less of a shit and he was smiling and joking around straight after the final whistle.

If I was a pro, I wouldn't listen to a group of people who can barely make it up a set of stairs without being out of breath.

Lati as well , thought he was a plus when he came on yesterday.
We need to play with more aggression and passion . That's why I would start a back four of Bidwell Kitching Thomas and Lati for a couple of games . Shore things up and be more physical , yesterday and at many times this season we have been powderpuff

That sort of stuff is a bit silly but I thought the players got off very lightly yesterday.

I was very surprised at the number of people clapping them off at the end...

They were serenaded last Saturday and treated as heroes. They need a kick up the arse.

Must be quite disheartening really! After the first goal I was lip reading Thomas and he said "Fuck sake not again!"

Thing is I think as soon as they equalised we all knew we were going to lose. In fact when I saw JDS and Collins on the teamsheet I said we'd need at least 3. Perhaps might have been different if Norman scored that second but we'll never know. They were still supported in the first half, I think at HT we knew we were done, with this lot showing not only a lack of quality in areas, but no fight.

Had a decent day out spoilt by the football. Still going to Cardiff but only because we're making a trip of it and staying there for New Year, no real appetite to go.

I remember Les Sealey smile when he let a shot he could have saved go in at HR

With any luck those 3 won’t be in the team

To be honest mate, I didn't!
I was convinced we'd score again so we just a case of could we stop the slapstick at the back.

As it happened, we did neither.
Fair enough, I just couldn't see it. Tbh Im just getting a bit fee up with it all i think. I was a bit hammered yesterday too, (started far too early for a 12.30 kick off) and was even one of the ones that caused division by booing Collins. Saw your post earlier saying nobody should and couldn't hit the like button as I was part of the problem. If Da Silva had been my side I'd have booed him too. Not normally my way, especially during a game, but was so frustrated with them. Clueless twats behind me annoyed me too moaning about players who were performing and then tried to tell me what I should and shouldn't be doing. Never thought after 1-1 we'd get anything :(

Rob, you’re honest and we’ve all been there. Get the frustration. It’s hard to think of the players feelings when they earn my weeks wage in less than a day, but from a completely selfish point of view, I want them to not be shit 😂

It's not right, but it is kind of funny. Sometimes you just get to that point in a game where if you didn't laugh, you'd cry.

I'd rather we didn't get to that point against Plymouth...
