Haven’t they just been taken over?Wonder if there will be a bid for Hamer in Jan from a prem side. Sheff united are tight for cash and it would them up royally.

You mean like the 2005/6 season when Sunderland got relegated with a record low of 15 points.Hope sunderland go up tbh. Proper team.
Much rather that than another Burnley or Sheff Utd, who will undoubtedly go down with a whimper the subsequent season
Whoever goes up will be straight down without serious investment.Hope sunderland go up tbh. Proper team.

Just been taken over and now have money to spendHaven’t they just been taken over?
I'd say it is more even than "pony".He’s right. The standard this year in the Championship is pony.
The bottom 3 in the PL now will be those coming down. The only team that'd worry me would be Southampton. I think Ipswich would lose their manager and best players and Leicester would be fucked. He’s right. The standard this year in the Championship is pony.
dont think many expected them to do what they have this year , browne turning out to be a great signingJust watching Sunderlnd Portsmouth game. sunderland 1-0 up after 7 min with a great counter attacking goal. Fast attacking football, striker taking his chance one on one and fans on the edge of their seats every time Sunderland players running with the ball.
they were the days
They hardly spent anything either. As much as I hate to say it I can see them going up and they remind me of our play off season grinding results out, last minute goals and a team of mainly freebies and home grown talent with one or two transfer surprisesdont think many expected them to do what they have this year , browne turning out to be a great signing
He isn’t playing and has a broken leg.dont think many expected them to do what they have this year , browne turning out to be a great signing
HAHA Shows how much i take notice of them lolHe isn’t playing and has a broken leg.
I only knew because I was looking on live score the other day as I couldn’t see him playing.HAHA Shows how much i take notice of them lol
I hope we're still in the championship ourselves to play themThe bottom 3 in the PL now will be those coming down. The only team that'd worry me would be Southampton. I think Ipswich would lose their manager and best players and Leicester would be fucked.
The margin between being a playoff/auto team and being a bottom half team in this league is very little. Revisiting the 22/23 season, how often did we grind out results where we won when we should've drew or drew when we should've lost. They hardly spent anything either. Long contract on mega money. How is Edwards still in a job
Yeah but he's only scored 3 in the last 4 for them.Jimmy Dunne for QPR misses an open goal. If he was playing for us there would be multiple threads stating how shit he was.

Right now, it feels that every 50/50 goes against us. I'm a firm believer that you make your own luck in life and this team just makes life hard for themselves defensively and doesn't gamble in attack.
I believe we'll do some good business in this window and the next and develop the team to next level.
His pay off would be massive, on £2M a year apparently.Realistically how long does Edwards have left? They’re having an even worse season than us and that is saying something
That’s a lot! I’m surprised he hasn’t been sacked but he probably deserves a chance to turn the ship around. His pay off would be massive, on £2M a year apparently.
Maybe our players should demonstrate that themselves. That’s a lot! I’m surprised he hasn’t been sacked but he probably deserves a chance to turn the ship around.
Their team will probably be gutted in the summer too to make things worse for them. Frankly, if we don’t at least get within 6-10 points of playoffs this season, our better players may want to leave themselves as we need to demonstrate we are serious about promotion.
