The Motherwell kit is pretty nice this year
An international for a pretty good international team is better than the posh player who is at best okay, KI watch quite a few games of theirs after we signed EMC and we need to look at better. Why should we though? Good midfielders come from the efl, surely it’s less of a risk signing him over someone playing in the Hungarian league
Watford had like a 3 million pound bid turned down for him last season, he’s a good player and on a free or 6 figure fee is a bargain, it’s all good though we’ll spend a couple of mill on another torpFrom what I’ve heard Kyprianou isn’t having the best season at Posh at the moment anyway?
Torp is better than Kyprianou so thats an invalid argument to begin withWatford had like a 3 million pound bid turned down for him last season, he’s a good player and on a free or 6 figure fee is a bargain, it’s all good though we’ll spend a couple of mill on another torp
Are you being serious? Torp has been a poor signing, kyprianou is an established efl midfielderTorp is better than Kyprianou so thats an invalid argument to begin with
yeah, he's got more ability, Kyprianou is very limitedAre you being serious?
Mate not trying to argue but torp has been here for how long and can’t even play a full 90, he’s not at the levelyeah, he's got more ability, Kyprianou is very limited
Love that we are improving our defence with a defence that got relegated last season ..Assembling quite the L1 dream team
He'd still be a far better player than Kyprianou is at the lower level Kyprianou is playing at.Mate not trying to argue but torp has been here for how long and can’t even play a full 90, he’s not at the level
Lati makes a lot of individual errors. I wouldn’t bet on him starting for a top 3 team personally so I’d take the few million in profit to be honest.I think he’s an excellent leader we are way too critical
Can’t remember who was making the point that it’s not an individual issue it’s a collective one
Just had a thought, knowing us if we sell Lati wonder if we look towards Tyler Bindon.
I agree just seems to be what we target these days. Still would go for Liam Lindsay and/or Harry DarlingI hope not, I thought the consensus on here was that signing promising players from L1 teams can only get you so far? We need an experienced head not another player viewed as an asset to appreciate
Binton one for the future, he’s different level to Thomas and kitching…..he’ll be on callum Doyle levels in the coming yearsI hope not, I thought the consensus on here was that signing promising players from L1 teams can only get you so far? Lindsay would be a poor signing, they brought in Gibson to replace him, shows how poor our recruitment team isI agree just seems to be what we target these days. Still would go for Liam Lindsay and/or Harry Darling
Sign 2 players from our bogey teams in hope it breaks the curse... I think Darling would be a good signing tbfI agree just seems to be what we target these days. Still would go for Liam Lindsay and/or Harry Darling
Did well last year and would offer experience in this league. I still don’t really think Gibson fixes anything for usLindsay would be a poor signing, they brought in Gibson to replace him, shows how poor our recruitment team is
If we can’t beat Preston we must become the PrestonSign 2 players from our bogey teams in hope it breaks the curse... I think Darling would be a good signing tbf
So why are they offloading him for Gibson then?Did well last year and would offer experience in this league. I still don’t really think Gibson fixes anything for us
It ain't that fucking badIf we can’t beat Preston we must become the Preston
Isn’t that how football works? Maybe it’s cheaper to have Gibson who can develop when Lindsay’s contract runs out this yearSo why are they offloading him for Gibson then?
It’s because he’s better, and he probably wanted to leave Plymouth because he’s way to good for them and they will be in league 1 next seasonIsn’t that how football works? Maybe it’s cheaper to have Gibson who can develop when Lindsay’s contract runs out this year
He might be better but he doesn’t give us the experience we need. Anyway agree to disagree on this one, I think Liam would be a clever signing for us.It’s because he’s better, and he probably wanted to leave Plymouth because he’s way to good for them and they will be in league 1 next season
Stone Cold Dean Austin knows quality when he sees itLove that we are improving our defence with a defence that got relegated last season ..
If we had any ambition we should be looking at players like Liam, we should be trying to get darling in, we won’t though as king wouldn’t offer him more than a few grand a week.He might be better but he doesn’t give us the experience we need. Anyway agree to disagree on this one, I think Liam would be a clever signing for us.
Don’t have any badges at all. Nor did some of the best managers there have ever been. I watch the guy every week. You don’t need to be the love child of Bill Shankly and Pep to see he’s not a good CH.According to some on here we are in a relegation battle now (still with 20 games to go) and you want every one bar 3 out and 1 of them your not sure of .Who would you play then? All reserve and academy players.Glad you don't manager us.
"Successive managers" You seem to be saying they are all wrong. Presume you have all your coaching badges and your qualifications are?We all think we know more than managers but when it comes to it most of us would not have a clue.
Players will leave on our terms. I don't think anyone thinks all our players are bad do they? Even the biggest wet blankets. We’re really going to watch half our squad leave for better teams and claim the issue was the squad quality

Your new lodger?Quote is cut off. He’s moving to Bedworth
That's one good thing, at least we hold all the cards with regards to sales, decent contract lengths.Players will leave on our terms. I don't think anyone thinks all our players are bad do they? Even the biggest wet blankets.
We aren’t going down and we aren’t going up.
Don’t see the damage in allowing players who don’t want to be here and/or make us profit leaving now.
It gives FL the chance to get 1/2 in now and know what he’s working (squad and money wise) with in the summer. Also means players who are going to be here next season get definite game time and become more used to FL and the way he wants to play.
Let’s be honest we need a re-build so the sooner the better.
However, it’s absolutely shite we’re in this position. High hopes at the start of the season seem like a distant memory.
