Sometimes players just don't work out at certain clubs. This might be the case with BTA the problem is we need bodies in or deals agreed before letting bodies go out. . I think we have had the chance to sell BTA, Milan, Sheaf, Lats this window, but none will go if the club have nobody walking in. The club will be working on things behind the scenes but this has to be right because FL job and career could depend on getting it right. Hold on to what you have with a couple of loans to help consolidate ready for rebuild in the summer could be the decision.

If BTA goes, this will go down as some trivia in the future. What a weird signing it would turn out to be.

I echo the comments of others. I like his work rate and the way he speaks, but his end product is so off it and he's looked extremely lost in some games.

I think he’s the sort of player you can rely on for 10 goals a season if he plays most games.

He’s not an impact player though and with others ahead of him here he just won’t get the minutes.

If we can move him on without making too much of a loss I’d be for it. His value is only going to decrease the longer he’s here.

Is Rosario not the odd-one-out in that list? I remember him being a bit crap in that red-flecked away kit.

Maybe I should go check the stats.
As a striker he was pretty suspect but as a midfielder he definitely had a spell of good performances, can't quite remember if he supply Mick Quinn or not but it felt a special time for a while.

He scored 8 goals for us in 59 games and a whopping 34 career goals in 271 games.

Interesting words from Eustace. Reading in between the lines he wants him.

"I don't think anything is imminent in the next few days, not that I'm aware of," Eustace told the Lancashire Telegraph. "Brandon is another good player at this level. We have been linked with a lot of strikers already from the league.

"He's someone with good pedigree and someone who has done well over the last few seasons. I don't know if there has been a bid. I'm not aware if that's happened and if it has, okay, brilliant."

Rosario's first season (91/92) wasn't great under Butcher, and then Don Howe's ultra defensive side. Even Gallagher struggled in that team. Paul Furlong scored 5 goals in 8 games and then didn't score again after November or something. He blossomed the following season, and as you say formed a great partnership with Mick Quinn. Gould even played him in midfield sometimes. That first half of the 92/93 season was a special period. We were top of the league after 3 games, and the magical 5-1 Liverpool win, followed by beating Villa 3-0 on Boxing Day. Rosario was key in both of those games.
When he was sold to Forest in February, Quinn stopped scoring and we slid down the league. He didn't want to go either from all accounts but we were skint, and £400K was too much to turn down. There are rumours suggesting he was sold for another reason though....

And there it is…. Stoke City have joined the race for BTA according to our fiends Pete O’Rourke.
If we get over 3 million for Lati & BTA, and manage to bring in 3-4 players (1-2 loans), then that's good business. Neither player will start against Bristol City.
