No but it is your fault for reporting on the terms being negotiated when we know, with Dovin for example, these things can take weeks and even months. Presumably this is day 1 of a meeting where terms and negotiations are being made.

Why not leave it be til it's concluded cuz you'll only look silly if cov turn it around and he signs

if you think we have weeks to sign players then you are delusional in January

he was at ryton today

dammed if you do dammed if you don’t post info on here

Sky reporting it this afternoon. That there fault?

Anybody else got the feeling Matondo is the backup plan if Schlupp doesn't sign?

Why is he at Ryton if the terms haven’t already been agreed?

A loan is usually taken with a view to playing or else why bother.

In which case, is this a vote of no confidence in Tats? I would totally understand that as I think I can count on the fingers of two hands the number of times this season he has gone to the line and crossed. He doesn't trust either himself or his body. Makes him predictable. EMC has crossed more often and he has played a fraction of the games. And we are now playing wing backs anyway.

Also is this what we should from hereon call the Bassette rule: We really need a CDM, but oh look here's quite a good (some other position).
We need depth, having to change formation because two players got injured isn’t great.

In recent games, we barely make 5 subs because there just isn’t the quality to bring off the bench. If we want to compete in the playoffs, we probably should be able to bring 4 quality subs you’d be happy to start. Being able to sub your midfielders and strikers is a good place to start and we can’t do that.

With everyone available, the squad is in a good place depth-wise. Over a 50 game season, you’re always going to have a few players who are unavailable.

you haven't got an inside source, you get fed bullshit every now and then so people can laugh behind your back

oh and they laugh, usually in the craven

are you jealous or something?

Thomas was heading here till something last min

Sky even reporting Matondo. does that mean their sources are shit?

strange

If it’s a loan the deal is thrashed out between the two clubs - he already has his contract - this is a disaster for you

why is it disaster for me?

meeting didn’t go well. how is that a disaster for me?

maybe we have thought the 30k is not worth the risk

No, clearly you got the scoop before we sky and it's true

What we're all laughing at is that he's travelled all the way to Ryton to tell us he don't wanna join cuz we can't afford him. According to you

Could have gone wrong when him and Doug King had a scrap because he wouldn't sing his song to him as a signing initiation?

The loaning club would have had to agree the terms so we’d know that before he showed up at Ryton

I have no idea if true but if it has escalated to a loan to buy, are the wages usually agreed beforehand for when / if he is bought?

I said the meeting didn’t go well then told he’s on 30k a week

maybe we don’t want him here because the 30k could be spent elsewhere

Maybe Lampard didn’t like him as a person

who knows
