What do you think he did well , misplaced plenty of passes 76% completion , lost most of his duels 6 from 8 , had 1 shot

I'm asking so I can see what people saw from today

He doesn’t use his height, strength or power at all when the ball comes to him. His control is awful. Just an enigma to me.

The standard of our finishing this season outside of Haji has been desperately poor and played a massive part of why we were near the bottom of the table

3 poor teams who were 5th/8th/10th when we beat them. Really it's the top 4 and then all the rest at the minute.

I don’t get the signing of him at all. He does have pace but looks like a child in a sweet shop most of the time with a stupid arrogance which looks embarrassing

He's a frustrating player because you feel like he's got more in him. We need to be seeing a bit more from him really.
I'll be interested to see how Lampard lines up with everyone fit.

He was working harder today than he did Vs Norwich imo so he has improved over the last month.

Still more required but moving in right direction.

We absolutely need more he's scored 3 goals in his last 31 league appearances

Yeh its not good enough. Not gonna moan too much while we're winning but I'm not convinced he stays in the team when everyone is fit.
Still think there's more to come but it's up to him as much as the coaches, geezer needs to want it a bit more imo.

Simms not as good as the last couple of games. Still think BTA is gonna come good but may lose out when players are fit again. Simms will definitely stay in the picture though. Torp admittedly good technically, but still lacks massively in physical and defensive chores.

Bassette will go out on loan at some point. Miles off it, which I get isn’t his fault.

Yea I want the lad to do well , but when I see supporters say he's giving very good centre forward displays I'm left scratching my head .

I don't see it

I thought BTA was better than Simms today and I'm far from sold on BTA. I wish Simms had his desire though.

Guess who still gets blown off the ball too easily. It can literally be put however you want to suit you. He ball watches more than Luis Binks.

Asante has the same amount of goals as Simms in the league with less minutes played .

He also scored 2 in the cup to Simms 1

1 gets destroyed on here , the other praised

He’s 5th in the squad for tackles this season and 6th for interceptions.

defensively he is sound.

It was his poorest of the three games but he with physical, even if he lost the duels.

With the way we play, he's an outlet.

I do agree with other comments about his concerning lack of goals but they'll come with the extra effort he's putting in.

BTA is treated so, so harshly by our fans. He's far better than Bassette who gets lauded like a hero every game.

Yes but he put that right pretty quickly , most teams were terrified of vik by the middle of the following season

Vik was a million miles ahead of where Simms is for us I wish fans would stop comparing the 2

I never stated he was.

He’s developing into an all round player and at the moment is one of the first names on the team sheet
