Maybe somebody like Burnley take a punt on sheaf if they go upI was thinking Sheaf would leave but does he get a better move than us atm? I don't think so. Maybe he stays and hopefully picks up his old form.

I’m sure Robins would love him but it would be Sheaf giving up on his Premier League aspirations and I’m not sure why he would choose that path.
Leeds ?I would think the only way he'll play in the PL is with us. He can have all the aspirations he wants but a PL team or a team bound for the PL would need to buy him. With his injury record I can't see that happening any time soon.
I think the Blunts would be more likely but I am hoping they don't go up.Maybe somebody like Burnley take a punt on sheaf if they go up
Leeds ?
If Ben Sheaf got back to last seasons form then him and Grimes together would be quality at this level
They had half a season worth of games practically where the defensive record was in the top 4-5 teams in the league. They can work together. They had a good 7/8 game period but they haven't consistently shown they can work as a pair. Admittedly this season they haven't had much opportunity bar Norwich (??). I'd be happily proven wrong and have consistently said we need to allow young players to grow into their roles. But if we are serious about promotion we need a top quality option.
Too early. Gentlemens agreements not allowed by FA rules. Can only see the deal finalised after the cut-off point for being registered on time for our game has gone by.Todays the day right?
Unless I’m wrong it is not in rule book as such it would be allowed for clubs to make a handshake deal but if the club went against it, there’s nothing enforceable about itToo early. Can't remember who it was but the subject came up years ago.Unless I’m wrong it is not in rule book as such it would be allowed for clubs to make a handshake deal but if the club went against it, there’s nothing enforceable about it
Might not be allowed but that is a classic example of a rule that could never be enforcedToo early. Gentlemens agreements not allowed by FA rules. Can only see the deal finalised after the cut-off point for being registered on time for our game has gone by.
You can argue it all you like, it doesn't change the fact that all official records will show the Luton , Man U and Sheff Weds results as draws.A draw somebody has to win
Not to mention his history with them should make it spicyI assume he is cup tied which is a shame for any potential FA cup run. I agree Leeds would be the time to bring him in. As a highly rated DM he will get a good work out against them I'm sure!

I agree. So why not delay finalising the deal for another day when it makes no difference?Might not be allowed but that is a classic example of a rule that could never be enforced
I mean he’s got his medical today, normally the last thing to do with these deals outside of paper work so who knows. Maybe we’ll have a announcement soonI agree. So why not delay finalising the deal for another day when it makes no difference?
An argument when I agree with you?You can argue it all you like, it doesn't change the fact that all official records will show the Luton , Man U and Sheff Weds results as draws.
Git…I’m nearly at a stage where I’d erased the United injustice away.An argument when I agree with you?
The game was a draw. The tie was won. But people seem to love arguing so state the 'facts' in their favour. And this subject is easier than most as the official records also show we lost the playoffs to Luton and the cup game to Manchester United and beat Sheffield Wednesday.
You get deals done as soon as you possibly can. Planning delays adds risk that something happens to prevent the transfer, a rival bid, injury at training, change of heart by the selling club, etc etc …..I agree. So why not delay finalising the deal for another day when it makes no difference?
There's no way he will play in this game. What I have said is I can see it being finalised after the cut-off point yet some are trying to argue over this thoughtI mean he’s got his medical today, normally the last thing to do with these deals outside of paper work so who knows. The club has a one year option on both Burroughs and Howley contracts.Burroughs contract is up in the summer

Play Off Final, FA Cup Semi, FA Cup 3rd Round vs Sheffield Wednesday... we won the best one for sure.An argument when I agree with you?

anyone know how we’re actually affording this deal?
on one hand the Vic money is long gone, and rumours that we’re skint.
The next we’re offering Swansea’s captain a long term deal. Spending 4 million and increasing his already large salary?
Make it make sense
Great prospect. Well done to whoever spotted him and got the deal over the line. He will only improve with experience. Just hope we get to keep him for a few years before he is sold for a big fee.Play Off Final, FA Cup Semi, FA Cup 3rd Round vs Sheffield Wednesday... we won the best one for sure.
As an aside, i kinda feel like Dovin gives us way more of a chance in shootouts going forward. Bloke actually looks quite imposing, Wilson and Collins give off training cone energy.
Don’t disagree that he won’t play, just don’t think it’s beyond possible he signs before the gameThere's no way he will play in this game. What I have said is I can see it being finalised after the cut-off point yet some are trying to argue over this thought
I dont have a link so may be untrue but i did read this somewhere myself the other dayInteresting. Have you got a source on that, or ITK?
Yes. Andy Turner said so in an article.Interesting. Have you got a source on that, or ITK?
Show me where I said it is impossible that he will sign in time. A thought is just that. A thought. It isn't an invitation for hen pecked men to try and cause an argument they think they can win for once.Don’t disagree that he won’t play, just don’t think it’s beyond possible he signs before the game
