Strikes me that even if Trump whats to do nonsensical things he needs to stop shooting from the hip and blasting out executive orders for immediate action and actually go through due process and have the implications of his actions checked in advance.

Read a couple of days ago that there's a barrage of state court cases mounting up where he has decided to randomly fire people. Now the government are offering all employees 8 months full pay and benefits to quit, guessing those two things could be linked. Not hard to envisage in the near future there needing to be a mass hiring program because everything is understaffed.

He's also managed to 'accidentally' remove health coverage for a huge number of Americans.Donald Trump appears to have accidentally turned off 85 million people's healthcare.

Just talking to a mate in the states. She and her husband have come back from holiday to an email stating he has until 6th Feb to take voluntary redundancy or they’ll start firing people. He’s been there almost 20 years, at 20 years his pension kicks in. If he’s let go he gets nothing, if he quits he gets 8 months pay but no pension. Now trying to decide what to do, if he risks it and gets fired it’s the worst of both worlds and they suspect they’ll fire longer term employees first cos it’ll save on the pension.

mates mom also worried about losing her job at the moment. lives in a small town where there's not much work besides government jobs so obviously worried that if it happens with so many people being laid off will they all be able to find work before the 8 months pay period is over.

there seems to be no planning to it, and not all jobs you would immediately have on your not needed list. I can see them spending a fortune to get all these people out and then having to re-employ them when everything falls apart.

Trump already doing a brilliant job, If the majority on this forum don’t like him then he’s doing something right

Peter Mandelson likes him. David Lammy has been bought into the fold over some extra chicken

So weird to let others define your politics for you. If people you don’t like were anti punching you in the face I assume you’d be enthusiastically for it?

Ahahaha love the late edit to “you are” because you didn’t know which you’re to use while calling me an idiot.
