Can only assume he’s impressed the coaching staff if he’s not been sent back out again? Unless they just want longer to assess him

He is quick. Something we are lacking. He has done very little wrong when he plays, albeit a while ago.
He was a regular for Kilmarnock before being out following the car accident. For some reason he hasn't managed to get back as a starter.

Add da silva. The worst performance from a pair of full backs since I’ve been watching.
Except they weren't fullbacks. Lati might have been ok as a.full back? Dasilva though offers nothing consistently as a wing back or a full back; the worst player in our squad along with goalsleeper Collins.

Id keep him around and try to push him in the summer. No matter the money we have to spend in the next window the need will be to produce our own. Burroughs, Andrews and Obikwu i hope can make impacts to add to the game day squads next season.

His best game for us was at Watford and he played left wing back with Eccles on the right
We won with a Vik goal and the 2 young, inexperienced lads were terrific

Played well that day against a Watford team still containing some of their ex prem (and now current premier league players) stars like Sarr and Joao Pedro

Would have started him Saturday at RWB. That was perfect game to see where hes at, albeit challenge abasing Clarke. Hes got pace, which always helps. Think Robins referenced him as being PL level fitness/physical wise.

As couple mentioned, he did well in PO year times he played. Just doesnt seemed to have worked/kicked on.

The fact he didn't start and then only got 5 minutes when Lati was having an absolute stinker (and had been playing every game so was in need of a rest) said a lot to me about how Lampard possibly rates him.

Lampard didn't seem to rate Dovin, Kitching and Allen going by initial selections. Since they have been given a chance they have shown their value. Maybe the same could happen.
One thing that frustrated me with Robins was his reluctance to give young players a chance, even from the bench, when senior players have been run to the ground. Although they may not be at the standard, playing is how they will get to that standard; and raw enthusiasm can get you a long way whilst building on other attributes.

Burroughs was very good for 80 mins against Watford on his debut. When he switched to the right he was knackered and got lucky. Some few appearances for us as subs, I think, and looked well off the pace.
At Lincoln was first choice back until his car accident. When he came back couldn't get in the team.
Was poor this year in pre-season
In Scotland not a first choice.
No starts since he came back.
Robins says he has PL pace and physicality.
May be a late developer and will improve or simply not up to standard.

Frank needs to have a good look at him in training before deciding on what to do with him in the summer. It's a great chance to impress as WB is an area we need to strengthen.

Early days though, him and Howley have only just come back into the fold. Plus what budget has Lampard been promised in the summer?

No need to rush decisions.

I'm not saying that FL has made his mind up about Burroughs and will be getting rid in the summer. I'm just saying I don't see him getting a start any time soon like a few have suggested.

Burroughs is a big lad as you can see from this picture.

I'm pretty certain he and Howley will both be released in the summer. I think people are reading far too much about a very small cameo. He has 1 decent game against Watford, but was pretty average in all his other appearances, and has just had back to back failed loans in a pub league. He'll be 24 in a month's time. That's not a kid for developing, he should be playing week in week out for his own good.

I thought Burroughs was a RB? Some suggestions are floating around that he should stand in for Bidwell tonight at LB. Is that within his remit?

I think he can play both sides. But I think we will have to endure Dasilva tonight.

In a back 5, JDS can sometimes surprise on a rare occurrence but we cant rely on him at all. Such a liability.

He’s a rare two footed player I believe. Shame it doesn’t look like he’ll make it cos he has all the attributes.

Not featuring on Saturday was the end for Burroughs I think. Could have easily started and rest Lati. Would be surprised if we see him now but could be wrong as it did take a while for Kitching, Dovin and Allen to get chances under Lampard
