Nothing marginal about it. Positionally he was off by a mile. He didn’t touch the ball but clearly blocked the keeper’s view.BTA marginally off, I think.

Karma was Thomas getting to keep his shirt on and score the winnerGood to see their keeper going down time wasting backfired with a winner in injury time.Kama
It was FieldPoor old Steve Cook pushed in the back by Bobby Thomas for the goal allegedly. Karma for the time he got Hamer sent off at St Andrews.
THEREWAS NOFOUL. He was in an offside position blocking the keeper’s viewJust watched the goal again cannot see a foul on their keeper, he seemed to go onto his knees obstructed by his own player if anything.
Sam Field went up with Bobby Thomas for the winner too, but it was Steve Cook who went down whilst jostling with Bobby Thomas just as the ball was played in. Presume some of a QPR persuasion claimed it was a foul, not sure myself (and I don't have much sympathy even if it were). It was Field

Steve Cook, whilst playing for Bournemouth, got involved with Gus Hamer that resulted in Hamer being red carded in the Covid season, if memory serves he reacted to a challenge...maybe Adam Smith on Dabo?
In fairness, based on what I've seen, QPR fans are not claiming a foul on the keeper but a foul on Cook by Thomas. My comment was simply correcting someone who claimed it was Field who was stated to have been fouled, but it was not. Field was also challenging backpost with Thomas, but there has not been a suggestion of a foul on him.Never a foul, QPR keeper bumped into his own player.
Clean sheet
Another rudoni assist
433 and emc in way back
Closer to the playoffs.
Ricoh a fortress
Thomas had his shirt ripped off by Cook earlier in his game, but a foul was called on Thomas and free-kick given to QPR. For the last play although there was some jostling going on between the same 2 players, I think the referee saw it as Thomas outmatching Cook Cook for the ball and swallowed his whistle. Fine margins. In fairness, based on what I've seen, QPR fans are not claiming a foul on the keeper but a foul on Cook by Thomas. Despite looking at it a few times, I cannot say for certain whether it was a foul on Cook by Thomas, but what I have seen, there is definite contact on Cook by Thomas, and there was by Cook on Thomas, but the incident appears to happen just before Rudoni takes the corner (although he is deep within his kicking motion).
No fool I can seeQPR forum convinced our Bobby blatantly pushed the defender to the ground and the ref didn't give the foul.
He made sure they didn't pull his shirt off this time.

Cook falls over his own player Field who is the one goes down when Thomas jumps? nah, not in the world can anything at that corner be even considered a foul. It's before, and you need a wider view. QPR fans seem to be claiming a nudge by Thomas on Cook was a foul.
This occurs as Thomas is running in with Cook, pretty much as Rudoni is performing his backlift to take the corner.
I am not saying it's a foul (the ball probably wasn't even in play at that point), just pointing out there was contact and when, just to make sure everyone can see the actual incident.
Can't believe people think there's even a chance it's a foulCan't believe people think it's a foul.
Some sympathy with it but they were at it in our area a minute or two beforeQPR forum convinced our Bobby blatantly pushed the defender to the ground and the ref didn't give the foul.

How those tussle between EMC and Dunne in our own penalty area before the end didn't end in yellow or red cards is a miracle. It was blatant man handling
Problem is, who is going to be the 1 up front? I think Frank is not sure on any of them upto now hence swapping them around. Simms plus one seems to work to a degree, but not Simms alone, BTA alone is a waste of space and Norman is keen but nowhere near the mark. I think the plan may well come to fruition when Haji returns from injuryFeel now if EMC is fit to start games, would like us to move to the 4-2-3-1/4-3-3. Can always shift to a 5-4-1 if needed later in the game.

You are right. But minutes before they were also at it and should have had yellows. The second incident in the netting would have seen both offBoth got yellow didn’t they?
I don't think anyone on here has, to be honest. Only QPR fans. Can't believe people think it's a foul.
Personally don’t feel Simms had a bad game last night and did a lot of the busy work but we struggled to create anything until he came off apart from set pieces.Problem is, who is going to be the 1 up front? Simms will be fine on his own once we go back to 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 which surely we have to on Saturday? Simms is decent with a good partner. Sakamoto was never going to be that. though, and I think he was only on the pitch for a plan to go 433 and bring on EMC in the second half. I seriously thought we would have stuck with the 5 3 2 formation that won us 5 on the bounce but swapping out Allen for Grimes and Bidwell for JDSPersonally don’t feel Simms had a bad game last night and did a lot of the busy work but we struggled to create anything until he came off apart from set pieces.
Think with a run out, he could do a job in the 4-2-3-1 but do feel Haji will slot in there once fit.
I don’t think we’ve seen the last of the 5-3-2 but it’s a difficult formation for us to fit our best players into and to attack the space in considering the focus on possession.Simms is decent with a good partner.
