It wasn’t vintage stuff. This pissing about at the back is a nightmare. Saka is a bit of a passenger at times, Binks is a liability…. But fuck it , 3 points was all that mattered, clearly without a few of our best players.
Biggest plus was the performances of Grimes and Dovin !
We have hope again 👍

Nothing marginal about it. Positionally he was off by a mile. He didn’t touch the ball but clearly blocked the keeper’s view.

MVE's throw-in was flicked on by their player and Rudoni mis-controls it through his legs towards goal. At this point BTA's foot is offside

BTA then tries to get a shot in and the ball ricochets backwards. The lino has now stopped and is in the process of flagging. So yer, I'm pretty sure he gave it for the initial offside rather than from Tats shot (though that might well have been given too)

Think the defenders arse cheek is playing him on isn’t it?

This is the 'push' by Thomas. Cook probably doesn't do himself any favours by getting back up and challenging for the header (as someone else mentioned, Cook got Hamer sent off in our first season back in the Champ, so meh).

Wembley hotel? You can book it if you Thomas Cook it (sorry 🤓 )...

There are 0-0 draws when neither side deserves to win, and 0-0 draws when neither side deserves to lose. I thought they were going to steal it when they had that last 5 minutes with repeated corners. They were constantly shithousing and time wasting, obviously thinking if they scored there wouldn't be time for us to to equalise. That's why when we scored my cheers turned to laughter.

Thomas had his shirt pulled off him and the ref gave a foul against Thomas! so do I feel sorry for Cooke NO! cheating git got Hamer sent off in his first season.

Thought we were way too conservative for the first hour playing 5ATB and Grimes sitting in front, against a team who really didn’t commit many players forward at all. Lampard switched back to 433 as soon as he had two proper wingers available so I guess that’s what we’re getting for the rest of the season/Lampard era.

I mean it was obviously a foul on Cook.
But hey ho.
I agree. Thomas just puts two hands on Cook's back and shoves him over. At the exact same time their keeper is shoving Tats over. Earlier on Thomas had his shirt pulled over his head. So much white noise at set-pieces I can't imagine how refs make their decisions.

Thomas clearly gave him a push first but considering how much battling had gone on all day it wasnt too bad and in the glad the ref allowed the goal

Did you think so? I didn’t think they time wasted particularly, and I’ve seen damn worse shithousing. The game seemed to be played in a good spirit until EMC and Dunne got a bit silly. I. In answer to your first sentence, I suspect the neutral would say that neither team deserved to lose, although I do think we shaded it in terms of shots and chances.

I did enjoy QPR fans singing how our ground is too big for us , despite us average over 10,000 a game more than them at home .. cracker tbh
We’d have a waiting list for season tickets if we played at Loftus Road so they should get back in their box (quite literally!)

They let it slip and slip and slip until now it's a ridiculous mess.

You've mixed up your 80s advertising slogans, "You can do it if you B&Q it" "Don't just book it, Thomas Cooke it". I am very aware of this as I grew up in the 80s and my name is Thomas Cooke
