I didn't say he was.

Oxford are 8th in the home league. Sheff Wed are 19th.
Oxford away is a deceptively tough away game but it’s still winnable. Ironically, it’s one of the game I may struggle to get a ticket for without calling in favours.
There’s everything to be optimistic for! I reckon we’ll finish 5th this season.

Only away team left with a better home record than us. If we make it it’ll be down to home performances I reckon.
According to those highlights we were the better team!
It always down to home performances because there is a bunch of 3 pointers. We’ve got most of the top half at home in 2025 with Watford, Leeds and Bristol played already (and QPR who were thereabouts).
The games against WBA, PNE, Boro and Sunderland are big games. 3 of those are proverbial 6 pointers.
Awww I think we were massively lucky today. Still, as they say, the best teams win even when they aren’t playing well!We had some good chances but on fair viewing, Wednesday were the better team overall imo. A draw was a fair-ish result. Needless to say I’m buzzing Simms forced a clanger from their keeper!![]()

PNE down with Stoke for home form. Derby even worse. Gonna be some huge home games.
My indignation would’ve been through the roof!Agreed to be honest mate! In this league you need to ride your luck a bit and we’re doing that atm.
It roughly evens out over a 46 game season and it feels like we’re finally getting our luck.
If Dovin gifted a goal like Beasley did today, I’d have been “incandescent” to use a fancy word!![]()
Probably worse I’ve seen since Sunderland.Lots of fighting before and after, it was like the 80s. Anyone else see any?
Like in 22/23, we need a bit of luck but who doesn’t? Idk about you but I’m loving it that this season is still an unknown!
There was loads on the main road back to the city centre. Just makes me dislike the northern wankers even more.Lots of fighting before and after, it was like the 80s. Anyone else see any?

I reckon we didn’t have any luck at the start of the year…or were just rubbish.
It’s been a funny old season. Previous (recent) years the football’s been more exciting but if we grind out shitty wins for the rest of the season I’ll be well happy!
Donny Rovers won 10 in a row last season, stranger things have happened.Form since the new year has been insane, find it hard to believe we can keep it going but we keep avoiding banana skins and getting results. Win two of the next three and I’ll believe I think. Still got questions about whether we can win those six pointer games and definitely the play offs, but if we keep beating the rest we might not need to.

Jesus Christ
We need to be careful with all of this hoodoo stuff next week , we do win at home against them occasionally, certainly draw a few times. Admittedly Queen Victoria was a young child when we last won there but at home it isn’t anywhere near as badJust catching up on this: what a way to take the points, very sweet after the CBS fixture. Great work by Simms for both goals and his disallowed one ought to have stood.
End the PNE hoodoo and just hand us promotion now

God , how did we get away with that ?
Although the ruled out goal ,was allegedly good , we gave away possession so easily at times, but we seem to have a never say die attitude & 2 games with extra time wins , in the space of a week is brilliant.
I have to keep looking at the league table to remind myself on how far we have come ………now for Preston & hopefully another bumper crowd .

We're in a better position now than two years agoDo yourself a favour and just believe. I agree with the sentiment but I felt the same way in 22/23 where the impossible was somehow possible!
It only comes off at HillsboroughThe 'up and under' for the goal at the end reminded me of Benno's hoof for the third goal in the '87 quarter-final, very nearly the same spotWe should try those more often

Why anyone of our support thinks we shoul be pally with these pricks is beyond me?
Fucking scumbags.

Probably not the type of fans they were afterNope. We walked right back the front of the stadium too wirh colours and didn't see anything. No one said a word to us.
What you classing as 6 pointer games? In this run of 7 wins in 8 or whatever it is now, we've beaten about 5 play off contenders.Form since the new year has been insane, find it hard to believe we can keep it going but we keep avoiding banana skins and getting results. We parked a good 25 mins walk away from the ground. Apart from a handful of police right outside the away turnstiles we didn’t see any on our way backProbably worse I’ve seen since Sunderland.
bricks thrown back and forth for 10 mins by coaches. no police
