We parked a good 25 mins walk away from the ground. Apart from a handful of police right outside the away turnstiles we didn’t see any on our way back

We were ten minutes away. Parked in the B&Q along Penistone Road. No trouble. Both sets of fans walking together away from the ground.

If Fadz is reading this I apologise, my son wanted a picture so I asked him and he said yeh but my camera settings were on a ten second timer for some reason and in-between pissing about trying to change it he had enough and said nah and walked off, my son was gutted and all my fault but fair play to Fadz being in the away end and happy to take pictures with people, you are a legend and always will be here

We were further up that road. Didn’t see anything either but we made a conscious effort not to try and stick out as there certainly was a moody atmosphere. By the way, what a pain in the arse was it trying to turn around to get back up the A road ?

We just walked to the Macdonalds. It was fine 45 mins later, but yeah a pain turning onto the other side of the road.

What you classing as 6 pointer games? In this run of 7 wins in 8 or whatever it is now, we've beaten about 5 play off contenders.

I mean West Brom, Boro, Sunderland, Sheff Utd. Teams I’d put at around our level. I’m not sure the likes of QPR and Sheff Wed are actual play off contenders so much. The sort of clubs that are top ten every season basically. I know you want to turn this into internet points and I’m sure you’ll disagree but whatever at this point.

Do yourself a favour and just believe. I agree with the sentiment but I felt the same way in 22/23 where the impossible was somehow possible!

I much prefer not to expect wins and get them than the other way around. Did me well enough in 22/23.

My internet points are scoring themselves tbh. We all have had opinions that age badly but I've been on a pretty hot spell with opinions that age well. I just wasn't sure what your idea of a 6 pointer was. Wednesday, Watford, Bristol City are all above Boro, Blackburn are above both Boro and WBA.
I don't think we are Sheffield United, Sunderland level really, but I wouldn't rule us out if we got either in the play offs.

Apparently sheff weds wanted the same stopped for the minutes applause.

How long has that been a thing?

Fucking nonsense.
Time to nip all this shit in the bud.
Irony being that their support have been responsible for some proper sick shit recently and made light of tragic deaths, (which I don't have a problem with, if you want to be a prick and show the world you are crack on).
By all means have a minutes applause during the game, but fuck stopping the game and if someone scores so be it.

We gave a pre game tribute for 2 of their supporters once, look where it got us with those cunts, fuck'em.

Fully added to my hate list. Sheffield is a proper weird city.

To be fair, I've long hated these cunts more than United.
Probably the one footballing issue me and my son disagree on most, he fucking hates United!
Your son sounds like a smart guy, I am now seeing your side too though. Maybe you should have a sit down with him and agree they are both cunts?

The lad was a Sheffield United fan as well which makes it a bit stranger.

Well I'm all for uniting against knife crime and crossing barriers but as someone said, they could have done something pre match.

They really are fucking bell ends. Or should I say fucking bell ends that we've beat twice since Christmas

Games against Sunderland and Sheff Utd are usually pretty close. I wouldn’t expect us to beat Leeds or Burnley so much (though prior to this season we’ve done OK against Leeds but more by luck than skill), but those teams I’d give us a chance against is we set up well and have a good game. It’s not really about the league table this exact minute as the last few seasons. I’d put Norwich in there too and they’re well below us.

Tbf I'm half expecting just to beat Sunderland based on nothing other than, that's just what we do right? Same way I'm expecting us to somehow cock up Preston even though they are a mediocre set of shithouses.

I really want Burnley to finish second cos I think we can take any of the PO teams in that case. Need Agent Hamer to do us a favour. I dread playing Burnely in a knock out game. Their loss record this season is ridiculous.

Agreed, they would agonisingly grind their way through the play offs.

A What we do in the shadows reference for those that watch it, they are the footballing equivalent of Colin Robinson, they just suck the life out of everyone with their tedium.

Maybe the way to go is stodge the game for two 0-0s and practice the life out of our pens.

That’s got to be a universal preference… imagine being Man Cuty in their prone where they expect to batter everyone 4 or 5-0?! That’s morning to me!!!

About 2-3 games on I started to believe playoffs were on! After today I reckon it’s borderline odds-on!

If I look at the league every team (minus Preston, Norwich and Leeds) is beatable for us. Our attacking quality and experience is vital for this promotion push and could be the difference between us going up this year than failing
Can’t believe the shit our team are getting missing three top top players
If we can keep going and wright and sheaf come back refreshed
Oh my

I said earlier that when Wright and Sheaf are fit they will be like new signings for us . There aren't many clubs around us who have players of their quality to add to current playing squads
