I think I'll find it difficult to applaud him before the game, we're in "war mode", don't care who we're playing and who manages them, it's all about the three points.

Hopefully, once the game has finished, he can have a walk around the ground where I will be duly applauding, hopefully with three points in the bag.
Maybe MVE will invite him to join the post match celebration?

Slightly unrelated but Seppala rumoured to Stoke?

EDIT: Cheltenham Town

How much of a daft cow must she be if she buys another football club?

There's still the extra blocks/partial blocks to open up yet isn't there?

Block 4, which holds less than 200, and the bits behind the dugout which hold about 250.

So at most about 1500 non corporate tickets to sell

Looked at Stoke website, away fans blocks 7 & 8 sold out, for blocks 6 and 9 about half the tickets have been sold.

Yeah I wasnt trying to downplay it, just now there's more to open. I think there is blocks 4 & 5 to open, the bits behind/to the side of the dugouts and the lower sections of 24,25 & 26. You quite often see a couple of full rows appear towards near sell outs at the back of those block too.

I don't think block 5 will open. Stoke have a full allocation I think, so 5 will be the segregation block

Cant see them selling out unfortunately.

If I understand their website correctly, they only have a few tickets left to sell in block 9.

Do we go 442 here? Wright/BTA (if Wright isn’t fit to start) with Simms up front and a midfield four of EMC Grimes Sheaf Saka?

It's hard to understand how anyone could disagree with this.

When Robins came back our squad was comple dross with relegation to League 2 without a penny to spend. We didn't even know which town/city we would have our home games in next. Fast forward a bit. Playoff final we lose on penalties. FA cup SF we lost to a dodgy VAR decision when we thought we had made it to an FA Cup final for only the second time in our history.

All many of us want is a round of applause for what Robins did for us in our darkest hours before the game. Then crush them 5-0. Why is it too much to ask from some?

We played at the Ricoh in the relegation season, the L2 promotion season and the one after that.

Yes we did. Didn't say we didn't. Hiw about listing the seasons we didn't play in the Ricoh and how we did considering most of us abstained from going to 'home' games?

Do you want our players to give him a guard of honour too ?
Forget it ! Treat it like any other match if you want all 3 points.

From everywhere else I've read, pretty much everyone is on the same wave length with this. I expect a fantastic reception for Robins and his song to be chanted either before the game or at a very early part of the game. This forum does have a different opinion on it to most though (not knocking it, each to their own).

Ideally you'd want Torp to slot in for Rudoni but i don't think we'll see that just yet following the injury. Maybe that'll happen later in the game and be ready to go at Derby. Midfield 3 of Grimes, Sheaf and Eccles doesn't do much for me tbh.

Well one will have to play further forward or be looking to the front 3 to play closer together

Yeh i know, and i don't think they are particularly good at it. That's why it doesn't do anything for me.

So with Mark Robins knowing our team very well will he manage to put a massive spanner in the works?
If he knew it that well he would have still been here! MR downfall was playing favourites even when they were so poor and playing players out of preferred position and being stubborn in his changing the shape of the team to counter the opposition during play

I'd rather play Allen Sheaf Grimes.

We know Allen can play better as a more advanced midfielder and has goal threat.
Probably agree, hell of a downgrade on Rudoni still mind. But then, it is Stoke... should still be enough.
