People have very short memories of how shit our midfield was with no forward pressing or creativity with Sheef, Torp and Eccles. Alan coming in was the starting point of our upturn before Grimes arrived. Alan ran with the ball and pressed creating space and putting us on the front foot instead of being a backwards and sideways team.

If Rudoni is out then play Alan until/if Patterson gets up to match fitness and then play him as a number 10

Another one written off after 20 minutes of Football :ROFLMAO:

Do our fans ever learn?

What do I need to learn? He's looked pretty awful in his brief spells thus far. He cost us a goal vs Preston and him falling over the ball vs Oxford led to a threatening cross by Brannagan which led to the corner where they nearly equalised. Hardly a great start.

I wasn't overly enthused about the prospect of signing him anyway as I didn't think he was needed. If he wants to remain here beyond the end of the season he's going to have to do considerably more in a short space of time to warrant an extension.

'I wasn't overly enthused about the prospect of signing him anyway as I didn't think he was needed' - I never would of guessed :ROFLMAO:

Did he celebrate in front of you when he scored against us for Swansea or something?

Not sure where you're getting him costing us a goal against Preston from! Harsh to lie the blame solely on his shoulders. Give the guy a chance for fuck sake! judge him at the end of the season after he's slapped the winner in at Wembley ;)

No I'm just not a brainless happy clapper that clearly dribbled over the promo vid and I actually watch games.

Penny only dropped when I finished reading your post. Allen.

Wonder how much Robins knowledge of the squad will be a factor. He will know the players weaknesses better than anyone.
I wonder how much the Stoke players realise their manager was unable to get the same sort of form the current Coventry manager has with essentially the same players? 😁

So according to this we have already broken the 31407 record attendance against Chelsea with 31847 already sold or do the away fans tickets always show at 100% and can still have tickets returned if they don't sell out?
I don't really understand it because if you total up all of those categories of ticket I listed its 33,784.

I think what inflates that number is "corporates" - which are different tickets but occupy tickets in the stadium, so there's overlap there that increases the overall total.

I'd like to understand this better for my own bean counting satisfaction. The other possibility is some of the "unavailable" blocks are actually now on sale.

This will be a tough game simply becuase Robin's will park the bus and look to counter against our - at times defensive frailties. He is well aware of those. He needs points to avoid the drop and the sack.
For us Torp must come in for Rudoni, as he posseses more options than Allen, and by far a better technical player with both vision for a pass forward, and has a shot in him with free kicks also a big plus.
I think Wright starts and EMC returns to the bench.
I want Robin's to do well at Stoke but not this week!

2.0 City.

You bet he has

Trained hard all week and is chomping at the bit. You're right he may still be on the bench in which case EMC remains who btw also did not look match fit.
Agree EMC doesn't look fully either, but think we wont see HW start game until after international break imo.

And really dont want the USA calling him up either for this break.
