Can I just say how cringe it is that Singers Corner has a Twitter feed and official communication? You’re just some lads on coke, calm down.

Has it really? :ROFLMAO:

Zero chance? We'll only be a point behind them with a win. They've got a few difficult games in there too. Plenty more twists and turns to come yet, teams fighting in different situations. Look at Sheff Utd, lost back to back games against Oxford and Millwall

Only a point behind IF we win. We are 4 points behind them

it's just been set up to deal with the allegations against the drummer who shall not be named

no problem with that, if it starts posting on a regular basis then yes it would be "cringe"

Just dont get it, what the fuck is going on with Wilson then?
Yeah, this really.

If Wilson still can't get a game now then what's the point of him being here and signing a new contract.

Don't buy the whole thing about not being fit, he's on the bench FFS. What happens if Collins gets injured or sent off after 20 minutes? Then he'll have to come on anyway. Just makes no sense.

They both need binning off and a new keeper bringing in pre-season to be a long term number two to Dovin.

Got a bad feeling about this one.
Can see a boring 1-1 with Collins fucking yo again and everyone pulling their hair out.

As long as you put 11 players on the pitch, you'll win.

That's where it starts to get tricky for us.

With Collins in goal you will have 12 players, as he will effectively be playing as an extra striker for you. We will be down to 10, as we will be without a goalkeeper.

My earlier optimism of us winning 2-1 has now gone. I think it will be 7-0 to Pompey.

☹️

...a medical condition 🤣 🤣 🤣
He's just not as good as many of the fans seem to think.
No idea why we gave him a new contract at this point.
You don't go from breaking the club record for most clean sheets ever in a season 22 in 46 games to being barely a bench warmer without something happening. I'm surprised more people haven't questioned what's gone on there. I think he was given a new contact as a 'good influence/vibe' but with no intention to use.

Remember when peopel said Derby were shit and were talking about an easy win?

I hope we do but just not taking anything for granted,

Losing 2-0 to Derby and then beating Sunderland 3-0 wouldn't have been on anyone's prediction list.
We should be winning tonight, and I think we will, but not going to be easy. They need points too

Ever wondered why no other club has been interested in taking this record breaking keeper for a very small fee? Judging a keeper off the back of one season (where yes he was very well protected) is foolish. He's 32 years old and most of his career has been warming the bench for lower league clubs. The eye test tells you he's not a good keeper... Should he be in for Collins? At this point possibly as Collins seems mentally gone here and in need of a move, but Wilson is also a poor keeper.

The style of play has changed from a conservative 3ATB counter-attacking style, to a more expansive 4ATB possession-based one. Wilson has a skillset that suits the former and doesn’t suit the latter. There’s not much more to it than that.

Yet lucky for that one season, and brought us luck, final apart.

Said it in another thread, but Wilson signing a new contract when he’s clearly the third choice behind Dovin and Collins tells you everything you need to know - even Wilson doesn’t back himself to be a first team option at this level.
Correct, he's signed a contract to be a virtually non playing member of the squad. I think even if Collins goes we'll bring in a new number 2.
Not knocking Wilson for it, easy money, can stay in the area if he's settled, but he's basically accepted his playing career is all but done.

I'd knock about the training ground and help players warm up for even £1k a week to be fair. Dream job.
So would I! That's why i'm not knocking him for it.. but he obviously doesn't back himself or indeed have the desire to go out and make himself a number 1.

If he’s that good then why has it been his only season of regular first team football in his career to date? And then he’s been overlooked by several different managers since.

Every organisation seems to have a department that operates to a different set of rules to everyone else, (usually IT).
City's is the goalkeeping department.

Conspiracy theorist - don't think he's 100%, that's all. Almost certainly why they recalled Bell. If he was 100%. he'd have been selected imho.

Exactly. He was back up to Marosi in League One and i recall Bradford fans being overjoyed that he had gone at the time

I can understand why Wilson isn't being picked, he's absolutely honking when facing a player in a 1:1 which given our high line presents a big risk, his decision making (yeah yeah) to come out is terrible (e.g. the Spurs winner in the LC cup game).

Collins must be magnificent in training.
I'm not sure that a smidge better than Wilson equals magnificent tbf. A lot of clubs have duff backup keepers but you very rarely get a long term injury to a keeper, just the CCFC luck.
